I would have appreciated being made aware of that and consulted before just going ahead and putting fresh wood over a hidden problem. I was only notified about this because another handyman at the house sent me a picture of it. Also, there was debris left in the gutter from the roof work and I had to ask them to check and clean it out. Our downspouts go underground and that could have been a big issue down the line if I hadn't caught that as well. For the price, they were good. But maybe don't walk away for the day."
