"Hi [Member Name Removed], This is Bill from Letourneau & Sons I would greatly appreciate it if you would complete your review, now that your you job has been completed and gone through a winter season. Thanks for your feedback. Bill Letourneau"
They appeared to be doing a good job. My house is now a disaster! I called Bill in 2013, as it began peeling fast. I was informed he stands behind his work. He never came by and finally last year he did and agreed it was bad and would come by and fix areas that were bad. I called again this year and again was told he would come by most likely in August. I have not heard from these painters. I have had my house painted several times by painters in the past but I never witnessed it to peel like it is now, and so quickly after it was painted. I have sheets curling of the soffit rakes. North south and west all peeling. He told me he doesn't know what happened.
Maybe bad paint, wrong conditions (too Cold), I am not the expert. My house is highly visible and I welcome anyone that wants to hire them to check it out. Bottom line, they don't stand behind their work as stated. It's not even 5 years,,,
My house is on Piper Rd.
"The house in question is a very old farm house. we were hired to scrape all loose and peeling paint apply oil primer to the bare wood only and then apply a finish coat to the entire house. As the customer stated the house looked very good. The problem seems to be the older paint that is under our finish coat it was not peeling at the time the job was done, however as time goes by the very old paint that was not previously loose is now coming off the house and taking our new paint with it. The only solution is to completely strip the entire house or repaint yearly as the old paint peels. Maybe one side of the house at a time? I'm not sure what this customer would like to do but unfortunately there is no easy solution. We did complete the job as specified in our contract, and was even given a nice recommendation from this customer, but would be happy to assist in future resolution."
Bill gave me the estimate that evening via email and we hired him the next day.
They showed up on time, they did the job on time, they were clean and professional and they did a great job!
So much so we hired them for another job that will happen next week.
