"Al was fantastic! He clearly explained that my fireplace was shutting off as a safety feature due to low oxygen levels. He also reassembled the logs in the firebox and showed me the proper way to start and stop the fireplace. Highly recommend his service!"

"I highly recommend Certified Chimney of Holtsville. A lightning strike caused damage to my chimney. I needed a new liner as well as a new cement crown and other work done to bring my chimney back up to snuff. The owner, Charles and his two associates (Christian and Christopher) did an outstanding job. They are extremely professional, neat and friendly. They completed the job quickly and the most important thing is that I was given a very decent price. If you need chimney work done, donâ t hesitate to call them."

"Very efficient and professional. I did not expect them to entirely clean the fireplace from burned logs etc but they did and left everything pristinely clean so I got more than I asked for."

"I called Mr. Chimney and was able to get an appointment within 2 weeks which was great given we are in peak season for such services. Communication was great in confirming the appointment and on the morning of the visit. Adam arrived well within the window. Before even coming in the house he looked outside to begin his assessment. His interior inspection was thorough. We are still relatively new in the house and had never used the fireplace so he gave some very helpful tips and hints. Adam was very friendly, courteous and informative. I would definitely use Mr. Chimney again for future needs."

"I sent them an email describing the services I needed. Their very prompt response turned down the job because they felt they could not perform what I needed, and said that they were only taking jobs within 25 to 30 minutes from them, due to the increased gas prices."

"We had hired Home Service Experts through an Angie's List deal for a chimney inspection and cleaning. Nick arrived when expected and immediately impressed us with his professionalism and personality. (Note: the office staff is also extremely helpful). Nick inspected the two flues and gave us the good news/bad news. The good news: the fireplace flue was clean and didn't need cleaning at the moment. The bad news: the furnace flue was disintegrating from a combination of oil and gas fumes.
Nick explained what needed to be done and why. He didn't charge for the inspection, and even gave us a discount on the lining job, because we'd come to him through an Angie's List offer.
He returned a few days later to do the lining job and everything went smoothly.
I hope I don't need their services again anytime soon, but I wouldn't hesitate to re-hire Home Service Experts or to recommend them.
