Best floor sanding pros near Middletown, CT

"We feel fortunate to have found John Robbins Flooring on Angi. From the first conversation with John’s wife Charlotte, we felt well taken care of. We knew we wanted to replace carpet with hardwood floors, but that was about it. When we met John, we knew immediately that he was the one to hire. This man knows his stuff! John and Ray did an incredible job installing our floors, paying attention to every detail. They are true craftsmen and a pleasure to do business with. If you want to hire the best to install your hardwood floors, we highly recommend John Robbins flooring."

"Corey did a fantastic job repairing our water damaged floors and blending them in with the rest of the flooring. It blends so well, you can't even tell it was patched. Corey and his team were very professional, leaving everything clean and put back in place once they completed their job. We would definitely hire Hakuna Matata Construction again!"

"I can not speak highly enough of Alex, Dimitry, and David. They are artists who do an amazing job and charge a very fair price. We have a 1754 house, so nothing is simple. We asked them to refinish the flooring that we had in the great room. I have just completed renovating and wanted to have the 1950's floors refinished. Maybe someday we will put period flooring in, but for now, we just wanted the floor that we have to match the renovation. They blew us away with their quality and attention to detail. Alex was very patient with us and explained the whole process. In three days, our floor went from beat-up to beautiful. We were so impressed with their work, that we had them restore the historical plank floors that we have upstairs in our hallway and in one bedroom. They far exceeded what they did downstairs. I told Alex, my only regret is that we could not take the upstairs floors and bring them downstairs. We will be hiring them for all of our future flooring work."

"We hired Numitor LLC to give our house a facelift as we wanted to sell it. Frank and his crew refinished our hardwood floors, painted and patched the walls, repaired and replaced a couple of windows and repaired and painted doors. We are highly satisfied with the result and Frank was always very attuned to our needs and requests. The whole crew of Numitor was reliable, on time and they always went the extra mile to get things done. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations and was executed in a very professional manner. We would highly recommend Numitor LLC and appreciate the personalized customer service Frank offered."

"Did a great job on the floors. Was not pleased with how they prepped the house for sanding. Did not cover shelving, cabinets and appliances very well. I would suggest overseeing the covering of everything prior to sanding."

"Ours was a refinish the stairs project after we had pulled carpeting. Repaired the damage, sanded and refinished, and even were able to modify the stain to more closely match our flooring. Super job by a very efficient and polite staff. Price was well within our budget. Glad we hired them."

"We hired Moura wood floors to refinish the floors in my parent's home. The house was built in 1958 and the floors were in desperate need of refinishing. Never did I imagine the floors would look so good after the Moura team completed their work. The floors came out beautiful. The Moura team arrived on time and were extremely professional. We have since recommended Moura Floors to others. I cannot thank the Moura team enough for the outstanding work they did!!!!"

"Easy process from quote to work complete. The crew worked on a few small projects -- fixed a damaged wall, repaired flooring, and installed a new toilet."

"We had a very difficult issue with where to move furniture so the work could be done. They came up with a plan and the floors came out great."
