"My choices were a little limited due to COVID crisis, but contacted 2 highest rated companies on Angie's. First was a small firm who was booked thru the Fall. Alliance has several crews and were able to get to us quickly. First visit was great (David), who provided the quote, alternatives, samples, pictures & addresses of previous work. Price was reasonable. Crew started a couple of weeks later. Very professional and courteous crew of three. Once they show up, they stay to finish the job. Separate gutter crew came shortly after siding was done. Cost was $28,000 for a 2 story cape with shake siding. We love the shake look compared to traditional horizontal siding, esp for a cape house. We highly recommend Alliance.show more

"Victor was very professional and great to deal. He brought samples of the material they use, explained their process, prices and warranty in detail. He returned to discuss additional questions and even did better on the price. While Yankee was not the lowest quote we got, they were competitive and took the time to answer all of our questions and had actual samples of the siding they use. I will update this review when we have the actual work done with pictures. So far we are very comfortable with them.show more

"Joe deals with his customers personally, and keeps his staff up to date on projects, so the company is really responsive. He is up to date on the materials that are coming out, and can really help advise clients on what materials suit needs well. The suggestions are not just based on trying to make the most expensive sale, but what works for one's needs, budget and the requisites of the site. He spend a lot of time talking things out with me, and also helped me make adjustments according to the sub-floor that I had. <br /> The estimate was broken down well, so I could decide if I didn't need any particular services. Line items besides materials and labor included furniture moving, power stretch, new baseboards and styles of thresholds. <br /> Particularly, he was very flexible dealing with material decisions. I had the advantage of being away, and had the condo management let him in. EVERYTHING was done, and done neatly and professionally. If I had more floors to do I would go back to him. He was personable, flexible and kept in touch with me during all phases of the project, even sending me pics so I could follow along. <br /> I felt good about supporting a small business in my neighborhood. "Although it was difficult to schedule an appointment (due to my unpredictable work schedule) Andy was accommodating. Once a fabric swatch was chosen he measured the windows. Also gave suggestions of what window treatment options are available. Approximately 2 weeks of manufacture time and the shades were finished. Andy himself came over and installed the shades with precision. He didn't leave until final inspection. Will gladly recommend his company's services.show more
