Doug was always on time. His crew was very considerate, met the timeline they set and cleaned up after themselves. I can't think of what else you'd want from a window installation.

When we received the estimate from Doug, there were no high pressure sales tactics and no gimmicks. He gave us a fair estimate without wasting our time. He was professional and very knowledgeable. He and his crew showed up when they said they would. They were respectful of our belongings, even putting down a drop cloth by the front door to protect our hardwood floors. They did a beautiful job with the installation, answered all our questions and did a wonderful job cleaning up when they were finished. There were no unexpected expenses or surprises. When it was time to replace a basement level entry door, three screen doors and a set of shutters, we contacted Doug Hauser at Accent Windows and Doors. We made an appointment for an estimate and Doug arrived right on time to inspect the areas needing work. After making the necessary measurements he sat down with us and shared a number of suggestions for each part of the project. We selected the materials we liked and within a couple of days, Doug sent us an estimate for the job, which we accepted. On the day of the installation, Doug and his crew arrived with all the materials and after reviewing everything to be done, the crew went to work. Throughout the day, the crew was happy to answer any questions we had. The quality of the crew’s workmanship was excellent and the cleanup at the end of the day was thorough. Doug did a walk through with us to assure that we were pleased with every aspect of the project. We are very happy with our entire experience with Accent Windows and Doors and are enjoying the upgraded appearance of our house. We would not hesitate to recommend Accent Windows and Doors to anyone looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable and professional installer.

First class contractor. Owner and crew were professional and took time to answer my questions and find the right replacement doors for my home and budget. One of the sliding glass doors being replaced had slowly leaked for years, they traced the origin of the problem and explained how they were addressing it. The crew arrived on time, discussed the process and their progress throughout the two day project, and treated my property as if it were their own. Could not have asked for a better experience.

Doug Hauser gave it a very thorough initial inspection, listed issues
with the current wood siding and other conditions of the exterior and
provided us with various options. Once we chose them to do the job, we 
were highly satisfied with the process and final results. Their crew 
worked very thoroughly, gave us continuous updates and performed some
wood repair work that was needed. Appointments for inside work (windows)
fully accommodated our schedules. They brought in an electrician to
detach and re-attach the electrical box on the new vinyl siding. Our
neighbors remarked what a great job the company did, with much attention
to details. The price was very competitive. We can highly recommend

Doug and his crew were amazing. Doug spent a considerable amount of time with me discussing all my options for replacing numerous windows. He worked with me to come up with the best option for the price for every window. We probably met at least four times to come up with the final decisions. When his crew came they did an amazing job. Doug was there for the majority of the time insuring his crew was doing everything to his exacting standards. Doug took time to explain to a newer member of his crew what they planned on doing and more importantly why. It is clear that Doug hires very conscientious people and takes the time to train them well. Everyday the crew walked around my house and my yard making sure everything was clean and picked up. They used a great canister vac with a HEPA filter and not only vacuumed the work area every day but the main hallways and entryways as well. The windows look great. I am especially happy with the large bay in the kitchen that Doug redesigned to give me a large picture window. Doug always gets back quickly with any question I have. He always shows up on time as does the rest of his crew. He has an outstanding reputation in the community. His prices are reasonable and he is very honest about price versus return on investment. Moving into a house that needed a lot a work and then suffered ice dam damage could be very stressful. Doug took the stress out of having to replacement all the windows. He made the process as easy as it could be. He educates, listens to his customers wants and delivers an incredible product. I have ordered my second set of windows and am looking forward to working with Doug and his crew again. My only wish is that he would do general contracting and I could have him do everything.

Doug and his team were great.  Doug was right on time for reviewing the job and providing the estimate.  We signed and scheduled for early May.  He called a week in advance to schedule the specific date.  They showed up right on time and started work.  Dan was the one who did the work.  He was very personable, very polite and very good at what his craft.  He removed the old door and put in the new one.  The new is a Harvey sliding door.  It is so much nicer than our old one.  Doug came and inspected the work at the end of the day to make sure that we were happy.  We definitely are!  Thanks so much Doug and Dan!

Doug, the owner, was very helpful in planning the project and giving us a variety of options that would meet our needs. After placing the order Doug stayed in contact and when the worked started his workers finished on time. All three of Doug's workers, no subcontractors, were friendly and responsive. I would definitely use Doug in the future.

Doug and company did a great job; Were very responsive to my inquiry for a quote, price was reasonable and work was done in a timely manner and with minimal disruption.  They showed up on time, worked quickly and cleaned up everything after the work was done.  We have two beautiful new doors and a beautiful awning now.  We wouldn't hesitate to recommend (or hire again) Accent Windows and Doors to anyone needing their services.

Doug Hauser and his assistant, Dan, provided great personal service.  They were very attentive and made sure that I understood the product, how it worked, and why it would meet my needs.  The door was ordered and arrived when Doug said it would.  We scheduled a date for installation.  Doug called and advised me that the weather forecast called for a 90% chance of rain.  He was right.  There was no way that the door could be installed when scheduled.  I selected an alternate date that was convenient for me.  Dan arrived on time and began working.  He was professional and pleasant.  Doug arrived later.  He and Dan completed the installation together.  Doug won my heart when he noticed a problem with another door and fixed it.  It was a minor issue, but his desire and ability to help really meant a great deal to me.  So, I got the door that I wanted and it was installed when promised.  It's been two months and I have not had a single problem. 

Doug's communication was excellent.  He kept me informed of the progress of the project.  I have already recommended Accent Windows and Doors to family.

Everything went well. They were half the price of the other estimate I received!

Flawless - the windows are beautiful, the work was fabulous.

The work went very smoothly from beginn to end. Doug & his crew were at my house when they said they would be.  They took the old Windows out , put the new ones in.  Everything was done perfect ( this is not my first experience with having windows replaced) I owned a house previously & the work was not done as well.  They were very clean, polite, professional.  I  Will definitely use them again.

Over the last few years, I've used Doug Hauser and his crew at Accent Windows & Doors to install various windows, exterior doors, siding and exterior trim. What I appreciate most of all about working with Doug and his crew is that they do exactly what they promise they will do, when they say they will do it, and exactly how it will look when they are done. The other amazing thing about Accent Windows is that no matter how tricky or difficult the installation may seem, they somehow leave the job site cleaner than they found it, with little to no additional touch-up or repairs necessary to the installation site.
Finally, how many times can you say that you dealt with a residential contractor who was so focused on making sure that you receive the biggest bang for your buck for the new windows or doors that you choose to have Accent Windows supply and install? Let's be real, Doug sells windows and doors for a living and he makes additional money installing them. But never once did he ever try to up-sell me. In fact, initially I wanted him to install a top-of-the-line Andersen window, but he patiently counseled me that I could achieve the same look with the same functionality and quality and save $200 per window if I considered a slightly more economical option. Wow, that goes a long way in my book.
If you're in the market to upgrade your windows or doors in your home, you should absolutely to contact Doug Hauser at Accent Windows & Doors for a proposal. I think it is very difficult these days to find a company so committed to making their customers happy and satisfied. 

Local company did a wonderful job, very professional.  I need to replace over 20 windows but wanted to do only the front as phase 1, seamless from the estimate to completion. The Harvey windows are beautiful and energy efficient.  I am going to use them again for the remaining windows sometime in the Winter 2014.

I needed a window replaced for a home sale so it was very short notice. I called Doug and he told me it was short notice but he would commit to fixing it before closing.  After inspecting the window he told me I could save a lot of money by simply replacing the panes (problem was the seals in the panes failed and clouding was occurring between the panes.) Unfortunately for me the contract of the sale required the window to be replaced.  I lived in ta condo and I needed to get the paint for the exterior trim that was being replaced. I had great trouble with the Housing Association to provide me paint so Doug took the initiative and got a color match on the trim and painted it a week before installation.  
Doug came in the morning with two helpers and immediately started taking out the window. I left for work and when I came back a new window (matching the exiting windows) was installed and functioning.
I had previously used Accent Windows and Doors to replace three other windows two very large picture windows and one small. I had a similar experience with him as described above. I would recommend him to anyone.

I've been a customer for a few years, and always go to Doug for annual siding repairs, etc.  His work is great.  He gets booked up quickly, so this year between the weather and schedules, we had some delays.  I did not mind, he and the crew do quality work.  I had quite a few items on the to-do list, and they were here for two days working.
