"I contacted M and J roofing about a leak. Lous response was quick and after inspecting my roof responded with urgency. I had many roofs installed over the past several years none of which seem to work due to the pitch. The most recent roof I put on was a metal roof, which was the source of many of the problems. After Lou inspected it he told me what needed to be done and after agreeing on the contract he started immediately. They are prompt and professional and both him and his son Nick are two of the kindest human beings I ever met. They told me they'd be here at 8:00 a.m. and they were here before that, they started at 8:00 and we're done by the end of the day. Lou and Nick kept me posted each step of the way and during the removal of the metal roof they showed me what went wrong and explained why it went wrong. In short it was because of companies or people that install roofs that don't care about their work that care about ripping off unsuspecting customers. That is why in closing I will say M and J roofing should be the only and I am stressing only company anybody should want to do any work on their roof."

He'll start by telling you that he'll handle everything, easy as pie. What this really means is, he'll guide you along the way, because the insurance company is only going to want to deal with the policy holder, so actually it's you that will be doing the handling. It's also important to note; because of his, "tell them whatever they want to hear" personality, every time you speak with him, will be like the first time. He won't remember what he said the time before, and will instantly go into telling you whatever he thinks you want to hear today. And what he thinks you always want to hear is, all is good, no matter what roadblock the insurance company has thrown in front of you, it'll all work out in the end. And what he really means by that is, no matter the outcome, in the end, Rising Star will make a profit! Would I recommend them? Depends. If you're filing an insurance claim, and are totally clueless about the process, yes, as long as you go in with your eyes fully open. Looking to hire for a straight roofing job, probably not. I'm sure there are any number of companies out there that also do quality work, will do it for a better price, and won't tell you the sun is shining, when it's actually raining cats and dogs!"

"L&L made several visit including Saturday and Sunday to evaluate the job and made several suggestions as to the best way to replace the roof without any damage to the interior of our house.They promised to pick a good day to do the job and complete the job in one day. They arrived at about 7:30 AM with a crew of about 10 workers and had the complete roof replaced and the yard completely cleaned up before 4:30 PM. This included new lead flashing for the chimney and replacing 2 sheets of plywood. In addition they guaranteed the workmanship of the roof for as long as we owned the house. We had no problems at all.
