Rising Star Roofing

Great communication and follow-up from the main office. Communication with the project manager was pretty good even by e-mail. They fixed flashing that was installed incorrectly before we moved in and even came back to try and address a gutter problem we thought was related, which I absolutely appreciate since that's not within their typical scope. We will be hiring them again for some interior work on the brick fireplace.

They were very professional and clean you could not tell they were there when they finished!!! Highly recommended.

Run, dont walk away from them. Certainly dont let them take any of your personal property off your property or they will hold it hostage if they are unhappy with the insurance company.

They arrived, found the job to be bigger than anticipated, but worked to stick to schedule and did a first class job.

First off, the guys that do the actuall roofing work, do a great job, impressive to watch, and real quality. So why 3 stars? Because Chris, owner and spokesperson for Rising Star, deserves 1 star. Chris is the stereotypical salesperson; tell the customer whatever they want to hear, to get their signature on the dotted line. This is especially important to note, if you're looking to hire Rising Star because of other reviews, and are planning on filing an insurance claim. He'll start by telling you that he'll handle everything, easy as pie. What this really means is, he'll guide you along the way, because the insurance company is only going to want to deal with the policy holder, so actually it's you that will be doing the handling. It's also important to note; because of his, "tell them whatever they want to hear" personality, every time you speak with him, will be like the first time. He won't remember what he said the time before, and will instantly go into telling you whatever he thinks you want to hear today. And what he thinks you always want to hear is, all is good, no matter what roadblock the insurance company has thrown in front of you, it'll all work out in the end. And what he really means by that is, no matter the outcome, in the end, Rising Star will make a profit! Would I recommend them? Depends. If you're filing an insurance claim, and are totally clueless about the process, yes, as long as you go in with your eyes fully open. Looking to hire for a straight roofing job, probably not. I'm sure there are any number of companies out there that also do quality work, will do it for a better price, and won't tell you the sun is shining, when it's actually raining cats and dogs!

Chris was insightful and a master in dealing with the insurance company throughout the process. The crew was great and the roof went through the recent snow & cold perfectly! Highly recommend!!!

Worked with Chris on getting a new roof for my house. Fantastic service is an understatement. Chris was a pleasure to work with and delivered on what he promised. My roof was damaged due to last years punishing snow storms. Insurance agreed to replacing only half the roof, not the full roof. I wanted the whole roof replaced. Chris helped me through the process with the insurance company to get the whole roof replaced. We got the new roof and skylights which looks fantastic. Had some small issues as you could imagine you do with any project, but they were resolved extremely fast to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Rising Start Roofing.

Chris was always available when I had questions or needed an update. He was quick to add my project to the schedule and was quick to complete it. I would HIGHLY recommend Rising Star Roofing!

They did a fine job and cleaned up after themselves well. My only issue was, and it really wasn't their fault or a major problem, they couldn't start right away.

Chris and Nick were very quick and came to give us a quote to repair a roof and gutter the same day we called them. They were very professional and gave us a reasonable quote, describing exactly how they thought the repair should be done. They did it the next week and we haven't had any leaking since. Would definitly recommend!

I first hired Rising Roof last fall to replace a roof over a bay window. While they were here I asked they to look at my chimney which looked like it was cracked from below. Both projects were done quickly and professionally. They clean up well after. I would highly recommend either Chris or Nick.
