"VADIM KOVALENKO BROOKFIELD, CONNECTICUT, 06804 June 13, 2024 To Whom it may Concern, Adrian has worked for me on numerous projects, ranging from simple jobs like kitchen and bathroom sinks, to toilet installations, He's also performed more difficult jobs, such as replacing my water pump filter. No job too big or too small, be it interior or exterior, including my Inlaw basement apartment's serious flood repairs, to my 40,000 gallon swimming pool's concrete deck resurfacing, and rubber paint recoating. I've appreciated his services most when I needed emergency help, such as problems with flooding in my basement apartment, which had caused several months of lost rent due to the faulty workmanship of previous plumbing companies, (call for the names of those contractors) which happened on three occasions with big Plumbing companies, call for details. In one case I had to bring these local companies first to BBB, and then to the Contractors Guild of CT. , and then to civil court for legal suits. I've called Adrian a 'creative plumber, and contractor' because he is great at assessing the root cause of the current problem and then presents different solutions according to my floating budgetary concerns, which generally included a temporary solution, followed by the bigger permanent solution. In one case the previous estimate by his competitor was $2,500, Adrian not only drove to the factory outlet that had the water pump filter, he used his ow credit card to purchase the critical part, he then delivered to part, and repaired it the same day for $1,400 installed. My tenants and I were very appreciative of his excellent work from start to finish, because he also did mold remediation and and removal. In another case he repaired the massive repair of another name companyâ  s faulty workmanship which caused raw sewage in throughout the basement, which was a serious problem as the tenants had suffered for months with constant sewage backing up from the septic tank. Adrian found a unique way to reroute the water from the sewage ejection pump to the septic tank. His thorough knowledge of plumbing not only. Assessed the problem correctly after three other companies confirmed his diagnosis of the problem, he also outpriced them, saving me $1,000's of dollars in one case, which went directly into my child's college fund. Which brings me to another unique aspect of Adrian's company mission, which is putting the customer first. In his own words, his company would not be concerned with his company's profits first, but would be putting the client's needs and satisfaction first. (perhaps this is due to Adrian's personal ethhics as a good Christian. ) Whatever the reasons for his fair practices, I have appreciated them very much, as I'd personally hit hard times after several hospitalizations following a near death car accident and other health conditions, causing me to be legally disabled. I've also referred him to several projects of neighbors in Connecticut, and also In and throughout New York. Feel free to call for his before and after photo work samples. Sincerely, Vadim Kovalenko-Baloup"

Toilets questions, answered by experts

Yes, a toilet, sink, and shower can share the same vent. This is a common installation method that can simplify plumbing and save space. However, there are important considerations. The vent and associated plumbing must be large enough to handle the demands of all fixtures without compromising the vent's effectiveness. Additionally, the toilet should always be located downstream of all other fixtures. Because requirements can vary and space might be limited, it is essential to check your local building and plumbing codes and consult with a qualified plumber to ensure the installation is done correctly.

Replacing a toilet costs between $275 and $480 in most cases, and the average cost sits around $375. This includes removing the old toilet and installing the new toilet. Your price could be significantly higher if you invest in a high-quality brand, need the replacement done on an emergency basis, or replace your toilet as a part of a larger bathroom remodel that demands additional work.

The main causes for a leaky toilet flapper include wear and tear or a broken or incorrectly installed toilet flapper chain. If your toilet flapper is torn or deteriorated, it can’t provide a proper seal to keep water from running. Meanwhile, a chain that has come loose, was moved, or just wasn’t installed right can prevent your flapper from fully closing.

Yes, frozen pipes can prevent a toilet from working correctly. If the pipes are frozen, water cannot flow, which means your toilet tank won't be able to refill after a flush. This will prevent the toilet from flushing again. Depending on which lines are frozen, the ice can also block the drain pipe, preventing water from flushing away.

As a temporary workaround, you can manually add water to the tank for each flush. To clear a frozen drain pipe, you can try filling the toilet bowl or tank with warm water and flushing to help thaw the ice. However, the best long-term solution is to unfreeze the pipes to get your toilet back in working order.

Whether wall-mounted or floor-mounted toilets are better comes down to personal preference.

Overall, standard floor-mount toilets are less expensive to purchase and install, but they don’t offer the streamlined, modern appearance and adjustable height of wall-hung toilets. Ease of cleaning should also be considered, as wall-hung toilets are easier to clean than standard models.
