"I can't say enough good things about Brian, who took care of this work for me. He returned my call promptly, listened carefully to what I needed, and was able to go out to my house within a few days to look at the space available for the two needed light fixtures. He then gave me excellent advice on the type of fixtures that would fit, and the exact sizees I needed to order, as well as what locations would work best for connecting them to the existing wiring. Using his advice, I was able to order the fixtures, which he then came out again to install. He obviously has good skills, but he was also prompt, efficient, honest, and very professional. I will not hesitate to contact him again when I need any further work done -- thanks Brian!"

"Agile Construction was very professional. They asked what needed to get done and then came in and executed it flawlessly. They were able to answer my questions and explained the work and their methodology. They came to repair my window sill. And it looks way better than before."

Customers say: Quick response
"Elvin is a real craftsman. He installed bookshelves in several rooms and he will do a kitchen tiling project for me later this week. He is very easy to work with and is generally responsive via text. (If he says heâ ll be there at 9:00am, thatâ s when heâ ll show up. ) Iâ ve given him access to my home when Iâ m not there and heâ s entirely trustworthy. His fees are very reasonable, in my opinion. I will definitely be using Elvin for other projects as they come up."

Small jobs welcome
"Jaleel was EXCELLENT!! He was very professional, polite and HE does FANTASTIC work. I am looking around my house for other projects that he can do!! What I really liked about Jaleel is that he was very meticulous. He cemented 4 steel poles in the ground so that I could hang my string lights. He used some kind of laser thing to get them evenly spaced apart. He was very focused and he did a truly WONDERFUL job. I would highly recommend Jaleel to anyone! I did not take any pictures yet but will do so later and post it. THANK YOU Jaleel, I truly appreciate your hard work and your professionalism. I will see you again. V Lincoln"

"I had the pleasure of working with Dino and Pete of Platinum Construction to complete my living room, entry way and closet floor. Although it was a small project for them we felt as though it was handled with the same care and professionalism as the larger projects they do. As well as being completed in a timely manner. Pete and his helper did a great job. They were prompt at 8am both mornings, very informative and professional through the project. Should I need another project done they will be the first ones I reach out to!"

"The crew did an amazing job on my home addition ! "The project was top notch. They always showed up on time, they finished the project early and were willing to reschedule the final walk through multiple times to accommodate our schedule. Final project turned out great!" Everytime I asked for items to be touched up, someone was here the next day and was in and out. I know I can be a perfectionist, and they worked well with my OCD. They were recommended to us from our realtor, and the 1000 sq ft addition added more value to our home than we paid for the project ! We are very happy, and look forward to using them on our next home purchase."

The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.
One starting point to find a local home builder is to collect suggestions from friends and neighbors. However, it’s still wise to do some more research before you hire a builder. Read reviews to supplement any word-of-mouth recommendations. Check sources like Angi that have standards and criteria in place to screen the pros it lists can also help you find more reputable local home builders.
Typically, it’s more affordable to buy an existing home than it is to build a new one. New construction loan interest rates tend to be higher than interest rates for traditional mortgages. Additionally, the cost of materials is likely higher when building a new home than it was when an existing home was built (unless it’s a very new one). You’re also paying for all new appliances, finishes, permits, inspections, and connections for water, gas, and electricity.
Knowing if you need an architect for your project can be tricky, especially if you've never worked with one before. In general, small remodeling projects like replacing fixtures typically don't require the expertise of an architect. However, larger projects, like moving walls or adding an addition to your home, should include an architect to ensure the project is structurally sound.
