He stated then that he cancelled all his appts due to rain but forgot to reach out to me. Made a third appt and he again was a no show. Attempted several times to reach out again and no response. I requested refund to go somewhere else and he also has not responded. I would like a refund for the $300 paid in cash to him."

Luckily, spiders rarely “infest” a home like many other pests. They don’t tend to live in groups except when first born, and prefer their space. The most effective natural roach repellent is Borax with its key ingredient of boric acid and diatomaceous earth. But some homeowners may not feel like these are “natural” enough, especially since you can’t use Borax around curious pets or toddlers.

On the other hand, studies have shown that oregano oil mixtures have some of the best repellent effects, and other research indicates that catnip oil, peppermint oil, and citrus oils have notable effects on keeping roaches away. Rosemary oil has been shown to be the most effective natural oil for killing cockroaches outright.

If you’re apprehensive about whether pest control services are safe for dealing with a termite infestation, rest assured that they are, as long as you hire a licensed company following strict safety protocols. Before the process begins, you'll need to remove food, plants, and pets from the home to prevent chemical exposure. You’ll also need to vacate your home for a couple of days while the treatment takes place and the chemicals dissipate. Re-entry is only safe once your pest control provider confirms that the home has been properly ventilated and cleared for return.

First, you’ll start noticing fewer flying termites in the air. Second, you’ll see fewer ground-based termites near the entrances to their colony, and eventually none at all. Third, if you have access to part of the nest like mud tubes, you can scour away a section and watch it. If the tubes don’t get repaired, the nest is probably doomed. Again, it can take several weeks for termites to fully go away, depending on the type of treatment.

If the cat is stray (you noticed a collar or other signs of domestication), the kind thing to do is to try and find the owner. Call around to other neighbors to see if they can lead you in the right direction. If you can get close enough to snap a picture, try posting an image of the cat to local community groups and pages on social media. 

If the cat is feral, you can try to humanely trap them and participate in a local shelter’s TNR program. Before attempting capture, call around to local rescues and shelters to make sure one near you does participate in a TNR program. They may even be able to catch the cat for you.
