The person that quoted me insisted that the chimney was required to be taken down to the roof line and that pointing was not possible. I had asked for a quote to point and to re-do the cap area as well as install a SS liner. So inital quote was $2989.00 The crew showed up and informed me that in no way did the chimney need to be taken down. They pointed and performed the other work and obviously lower the cost to $2100.00. On the administrative side, these people are very prompt at billing our credit card on time but lousy at providing correct receip"
