It is thicker, has insulation, the clapboards are 7” vs. the double clapboards you usually see. The problem with the double is there is a common seam you see that transcends 2 simulated clapboards. "Mark and the highland team did a great job on my house. We went with Harvey Classic windows and Certainteed Monogram siding, pricing was better than competing firms. Mark suggested upgrading the front fascia boards with Azek PVC boards, which gave the final result a really clean look. This was a big job, and took about 3.5 weeks to complete. His team was on-site every day until the job was complete, and Mark did not expect final payment until we jointly walked around the property and that everything met my approval.
