"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"Sarah Garofalo at California Interiors LLC Recommendation My wife and I have been very fortunate to have worked with Sarah to design a remodel of our master bathroom into a space suitable for a handicapped person. We originally engaged with a different interior designer. That turned into a big mistake as we were not able to communicate with them effectively. The original design did not meet our needs and Email, text, and voicemail messages went unanswered. We eventually found Sarah and made the change to work with her. Our project turned into a bit of a nightmare as our original contractor came down with COVID and had to walk off the job after completely demolishing our bathroom. When we finally found another company to complete the bathroom Sarahâ s plans and drawings for the space were critical in working with the new contractor. Sarah listened to our needs and wants for the space. She communicated with us in a timely and effective way as the project had to be modified while we worked thru the process with our contractors. Sarah made timely changes to the drawings as the project required them. She was always positive and flexible. She took every challenge in stride and was always willing and eager to help and offer advice. Sarah helped with the bathroom layout, tile selection and placement, color coordination, faucet and shower hardware selection, custom linen closet design, toilet selection, and every other design aspect. "My husband and I hired James Hood to remodel my parent's bathroom. We initially had two people that we were going to interview for the job, but after meeting James, we cancelled the other interview. We were very confident in the meeting that he was the right person for the project. He responded with a written estimate quickly and worked with us to get the job started right away. We live overseas and were just about to wrap up our visit. He understood our unique situation and handled it professionally. I specified clean, simple, white. However, as he got to know my parents and spoke to them, he realized that more needed to be done and he was able to change the design slightly and give them a stunning off white bathroom tile that they are immensely pleased with. I was kept updated with comments and photos and I have no doubts that we left the job in very capable hands. My elderly parents were very impressed with James. He showed up on time and with a smile, he worked quickly and quietly and with as little disruption and mess as possible. He took the time to talk to my parents and even the young grandchildren liked him and looked forward to seeing him. James completely gutted their bathroom, removing the old whirlpool tub that my parents could barely get in and out of and installed and beautifully tiled a walk in shower with safety rails. He removed the horrible vinyl flooring and replaced the sub floor and repaired water damage from a leaking toilet. He installed a new toilet and flange, vanity, sink, light fixtures, power outlet and bathroom door. The floors were tiled in a complimentary color to the shower while the vanity, walls and all the fixtures were still the requisite white. My husband and I are very thankful for his hard work and respect and would without hesitation hire him again and recommend him to anyone. If you are looking to hire a man for a job, I believe that James Hood is that man."
