"1F Tree Services They are AWESOME! The ownerJeff was extremely knowledgeable, professional and very considerate about my timeframe for trimming my trees that had become very overgrown through all the rain recently. Even though he was busy, and scheduled me after the holiday, he came quickly because of the heavy overhanging limbs on my tall heavily leafed trees with his crew and all his modern equipment to do a very professional trimming of my trees in danger of being removed. He and his crew are efficient and hard workers. After he worked his magic, he had saved my trees turning them into beautiful healthy trees that will be enjoyed for many more years. He assured me that after they worked on my trees I will be very proud of them and I am so grateful for their excellent arborist knowledge and professional work ethic, their moral principles, of honesty, openess and their form of conduct knowing I could completely trust them with my beloved trees. Thank you Jeff and 1Tree Professional Tree Services!"

"Jeff was punctual and courteous both when he gave his bid and when he came back to complete the job. The trees in my yard were huge but he was able to safely bring them to the ground and cleaned all the mess. When he was done you couldn't even tell there had been trees in my yard."

The team arrived promptly and immediately set to work, demonstrating unparalleled professionalism and expertise. What truly impressed me was their meticulous cleanup. After the job, they left our yard spotless, as if they hadn’t been there, except for the beautifully trimmed trees! Robbie, Gavin, and Danny are not only skilled but also personable. They took time to understand our needs, ensuring everything was done to our satisfaction. Their friendly demeanor made the process enjoyable. In terms of cost, Uprooted Tree Care offers competitive pricing that reflects the high-quality service. They provide incredible value, completing tasks quickly without sacrificing quality. Tree Service questions, answered by experts

If you don’t stake a tree that needs support, it could be at greater risk of being damaged or failing completely, whether it uproots or falls over. That could cause damage to your property or other surrounding trees. If you want to grow healthy trees, you may need to stake them for best results.

Pruning is an effective way to prevent a diseased branch from infecting the rest of the tree. If the infection isn’t caught early enough and the pathogen has spread to the trunk or the majority of the branches though, it is too late to prune off the affected areas and you’ll likely need to remove the tree.

Yes, cutting a tree's roots can cause it to fall, particularly if major support roots are severed. In extreme cases, trimming roots can affect the tree's structure and stability. Many crucial roots are located just below the soil's surface. If you make severe cuts to roots more than 2 inches in diameter, you risk impacting the tree's water flow and its ability to withstand severe winds or storms. Even cutting roots less than half an inch in diameter under or outside the tree's canopy can cut off its water supply, causing it to decline, die, and eventually topple.

Since overwatering can harm mature trees just as much as a lack of water, it’s important to know the signs of an overwatered tree. If your tree’s leaves are yellowing, wilting, or dropping leaves, it’s likely that you’re overwatering. Other common signs include rotting, fungi, soggy soil, soft or peeling bark, falling leaves, and brittle roots.

If you realize that you’ve been overwatering your mature tree, stop watering and give the soil time to dry out. Then moving forward, increase time between watering sessions.

Yes, pruning makes trees stronger because it fosters proper growth, weight distribution, and balance of the crown. By increasing the structural integrity of the tree through pruning, it’s less likely to experience disease, pests, broken limbs, and storm damage. Pruning the right branches and limbs is key to improving a tree’s strength and balance.
