"Jorge was very accommodating to the changing conditions and requirements of this job. His team worked very hard to replace and repair the fence that blew down on that very windy Sunday a couple of weeks ago. I am very pleased with the result as is my neighbor. I would highly recommend All Pro Fencing and would hire them again."

"Ulises did a great job and his price was very reasonable. We had about 25 feet of fence that was wind damaged. he removed that, and installed new 6 foot shadow box fence and a gate. Very professional, cleaned up nicely, and did all of the work himself."

"We hired Front Range Fence to install a wrought iron fence in our backyard. They did a great job. Five years later, due to some ground settling, a section of fence separated from the posts. Chris Isaacs came over and was able to reposition the posts and reconnect the section - it took hime about ten minutes of work and refused compensation. I would recommend this company to anyone who has fencing needs."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

The bottom strand should sit between 12 to 15 inches from the ground. If you have a problem with small critters, you can aim for 8 inches. Three-strand fences should be 16 to 19 inches apart, four-strand fences should be 10 to 12 inches apart, and five-strand fences should be 8 and 10 inches apart.

Of all the fencing options, the cheapest type is a repurposed pallet fence because it’s made of used materials that are easy to find for free. But if you’re not interested in the DIY game, customize a covered chain link fence or a plain wood fence to provide the best privacy possible.

Rust, bent panels, loose posts, and broken welds often require repair.

A stockade fence is a common type of privacy fence. These fences consist primarily of side-by-side boards without any gaps, thus eliminating the possibility of anyone peeking into your property. Stockade-style fences also typically included pointed pickets on top for even more security. Other than these traits, stockade fences come in a wide variety of styles.

Generally, the height of your dog fence should be 3 times the distance from the ground to your dog’s shoulder. For most small breeds, a 4-foot high fence will be more than enough to keep them from jumping out. Medium-sized breeds like Golden Retrievers, Labradors, and German Shepherds will need at least a 5-6 foot fence to stay contained. Large breeds that are also excellent jumpers, such as Greyhounds, may need a 7-foot high fence.
