"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We HIGHLY recommend Juniors Hardwood Floors! We had a repair, refinish and new install job and are very happy with the results. It's rare to find a company that has the craftsmanship to repair and match flooring. EVERY other company that we reached out to wanted to tear out and install new flooring....I believe it was because it is difficult to repair and match. Juniors flooring did just that and it is beautiful! We would get a text with their ETA each day and when we needed them to return for any reason, it was no problem at all. Again, we highly recommend them!"

"Good experience with the company and did a good job answering questions and concerns. Only troublesome aspect was whatever they used to clean the glue off the flooring was difficult to get off - slightly oily feel and showed all footprints. Be prepared to clean floors 3 or 4 times once they leave."

For long-term care, refinish the floors as needed to keep them looking their best.

You can tell a carpet is good quality if it’s made of a soft, durable material and has a good face weight and density. When comparing two similar carpets, the higher the face weight, the more durable the carpet tends to be. The same goes for carpet density. A higher density of two similar carpets often indicates better quality. The ideal carpet face weight and density values depend on the carpet material and type. 

If the stairs are already covered in carpet, you will need to remove the old carpet and possibly the carpet pad. Any damage to the stairs like cracks, loose boards, or creaky treads may also need to be repaired. You may also want to sand and refinish or paint wood stairs before installing a carpet runner.

Start the first row of vinyl planks along the longest or most visible wall in the room. This will create a clean, straight foundation row to build off of. It’s a good idea to install a rug pad under the carpet for your stairs. To make the pad fit, you’ll need to cut one section for each stair tread that’s about one inch narrower than the stair runner so that it won’t be visible once the carpet is installed on top.
