"Tanner and his crew were professional and thorough. They took care to minimize the impact of having a small loader in my yard, and rehung the gate to the back yard better than it was before. Well done and would recommend."

We are an all around lawn care provider. Whether it is mowing, trimming, edging, Hedge and bush trimming / removal, weeding, aeration or power rake, we got you covered.

"This is a straightforward absolute five rating. I had Wellington lawns coming into our aeration and sprinkler blowout today. Pat showed up on time and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend in fact, my neighbor had him do their lawn as well. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks again, Pat. "

Turf Master Sod Farm is a family owned and operated Sod production business with locations in Colorado and Wyoming. We take pride in offering you a wide variety of Low water use specialty grasses as well as bluegrass and fescues. Turf Master is especially proud of the custom blends we’ve created to thrive in our harsh, arid climate. We are honored to have served both residential and commercial clients in Colorado, Wyoming, western Nebraska, eastern Utah, southern Montana and the Dakotas for over 40 years and look forward to continuing to serve our community by providing high quality, environmentally friendly sod for generations to come. Wyoming Location: 324 Ayers Rd. Wheatland, WY 82201; (866) 493-8311

"The services, from the sales rep Frank, (who cussed in front of my 3 year old, failed to respond to messages and walked off the job), to the unresponsive management and unreturned phone calls after an incomplete job leaves us without thousands of dollars and a horrible looking lawn. They did not finish the job nor offer to remediate, only stating we were “confrontational” after asking what they would do to fix the problems. Even if that was true (which it is not), the job we paid for is still not completed, confrontations or not, and that is what we paid for. New sod, not their opinions on how we handles our unhappiness with their lack of professionalism. They left an unfinished job with 100% of our money up front. They even broke our fence! Take it from us, do not do business with anyone who asks for all up front if the job isn’t complete. Sod was left out in sun on a pallet in 100 degree heat for 5+ hours dying before it was started to be installed, the ground was not properly prepped, and weeds and grass are now growing from underneath the new sod laid. They laid the sod in the wrong places. They left a mess, were unprofessional, disrespectful, and sadly did not operate in a Christian manner. We are having another local landscaper have to fix the problems, and they are shocked at the way our lawn was left by this company. Save your money and do business elsewhere. I guess turf masters does not care to help their customers. BBB will hear from us, as will Secretary of State and beyond. We are just shocked this is the way they operate."

I, Tom Bever, am sorry to imform you that I am not doing any business at this time. I have been on the Bassmaster Fishing Tournaments and making more money than landscaping. Sorry. Bever's Nursey would like to introduce you to our expert services. I have been doing landscaping and property maintenance in the Boulder county since 1980. But have been doing bussiness since 1968 in Floral, Landscaping and Growing Flowers. Also Servicing Larimer & Weld Counties. All my workmanship and plants are guaranteed. Landscaping, I ask for half down to help pay for the materials. The other half paid when the job is done. I have a contract that I want signed before the job is started. I like to do the job right the first time, I do not like to come back to repair things. Bever's Nursery does not cut any corners and I always use the best stuff on the market. Bever' Nursery is with the BBB as a A+.

Mulch and Topsoil questions, answered by experts

Colored mulch can be bad for plants in that it robs them of nitrogen as it depletes the soil to break itself down. With this in mind, it’s a good idea to test your soil to check the nitrogen levels. If the nitrogen levels are low, use fertilizer with extra nitrogen or switch to regular mulch.

Another downside of colored mulch is if it’s heavily contaminated, it can contaminate the soil and damage your plants. To avoid this, look for the MSC certification logo on the mulch bag before purchasing.

Some drawbacks of forestry mulching include leaving behind a thick mulch layer, not being suitable for extremely rocky areas, creating conditions that attract pests, and not being able to fully remove large trees and stumps. You may need to pay extra to have larger trees felled and stumps ground in order to fully clear your land.

Top up your gravel driveway whenever water starts to pool in areas. This is bound to happen over time. You can be proactive and top up your driveway at the start of the warm season, and then check on it throughout the summer, particularly after heavy rainfall. Every few years, you should consider installing a new, clean layer of gravel—and that’s a good opportunity to install a layer of landscaping fabric before doing so.

Determining how many boulders you’ll need for your landscaping project depends on the area you need to cover and how big each boulder is. First, you’ll need to determine how big of an area you want covered, then divide that by the base surface area of the boulders. A landscape professional can help you determine how many boulders will be right for your project.

You can use regular sand as the base for your pavers and in between pavers to seal the joints. Many pros reach for polymeric sand, also known as all-purpose sand, because it has been sifted and washed to remove impurities. But you can easily level ground and fill gaps between pavers for a clean look using regular sand, sometimes at a lower cost.
