Chris does great work and always wants to make sure the customer is happy. He even reseeded the areas around the walk when he finished.

I called a landscaper the first of April for a bid.  The owner came out to my property, walked it for over an hour, made notes and said I would get a bid within a week or so.  Fast forward to July.  I gave up on ever receiving any bid from this first company.  I then left messages for two other landscape companies with no return call.  So, I did what I should have done in the first place and signed into my Angies list account.
I read the reviews on Exterior Innovations and thought I'd give it a try.  I emailed the owner Chris.  The very next morning he responded.  Chris said he had a job he was completing but he could come by the next week.  He showed up as scheduled on time.  He provided a written bid within the time frame he quoted.  He started the job when he said he would, and did exactly as we discussed.  Chris just left my property moments ago.  He did a wonderful job, exactly as I imagined and for a fair price.
You can trust Chris, and I will not hesitate to refer him.  Absolute best experience I've had with a contractor in a long time.

Chris was one of the only companies to respond when we called around. He immediately contacted us to make an appointment. When Chris showed up, we showed him the horrible looking yard that included already established grass and dirt. We thought that the entire yard would need sod, but he was quick to tell us that he could patch it in where necessary. We also needed sod on both our side and our neighbors side of the fence. Chris took his measurements and let us know he would write up the estimate and get back to us. The next day he contacted us and emailed us the estimate. We reviewed it and let him know that the price was great. Chris came over to get the contract signed and the deposit. He did mention that it would be a couple of weeks until he could start, but during this season we understood. Once he started the work (which was on a Monday) he had the entire job done within 3 days. The sod/yard looks great. Chris also came back to pick up the final payment and go over everything with us. He let us know how often to water, when to fertilize, and if in a month that if anything went bad to give him a call. Chris works alone, but does an amazing job all while being professional and courteous. We would highly recommend him to anyone and also call upon his services again in the future.

Chris is a very conscientious and hard worker, but also a Jack-of-All-Trades. He was able to handle every aspect for my new patio and garden area, from start to finish. He also listened to what I wanted, and didn't get upset when I changed my mind a few times! I would recommend him highly and will hire him back for any future landscape needs.

Removed tons of large (river type) rock from side of house. This rock was on such a slope thirty three degree (or greater). The rocks were sliding down and made it impossible to get to the back yard (just walking, forget trying to get lawnmower to back yard)! This was done by D R Horton builders, as this was a brand new house. They refused to make it right (usable) even though I paid extra for this lot! Chris designed a great retaining wall with a very useable path on both sides of the house. This looks great and is now safe! Additionally, he removed more river rock which the builder had placed outside of the patio, which made it dangerous to walk on to get to the yard and made it a useless area and waste of space. He designed a beautiful flagstone area which expands the patio and actually makes it a useable area: esthetically pleasing, usable AND safe! He took what had been an unsafe unusable area and made it practical, usable space while maintaining drainage away from the foundation.

Chris did a great job and we are very happy with the results, he was very easy to work with, professional and gave us exactly what we were looking for in a face lift for our front yard
