"I used their service in 2014. I wrote this review then, but decided to be nice and not to post it. Well, I feel it necessary now to post it because the garage door opener they sold me has never worked correctly (even after they came out to "fix" it), and now it is flat out broken. I have no interest in contacting them again for the repairs because I fear they will just give me more poor service and faulty products. Not worth the time and frustration. I will call someone else this time. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. 2014 - Called for service when our garage door started to not open without a bit of a push from underneath. The experience began with the technician arriving 1.5 hours after our 2 hour scheduled time. No one called to tell me there was a delay, I only found out when I called myself to see where he was. I was then told that the springs and rollers needed to be replaced and that this would cost $585. I asked for a discount and he lowered the price to $420. After the springs and rollers were replaced, he calls me into the garage with "bad news". The motor is burned out. Did he not know this? I was told that the springs and rollers would fix my problem, now I'm going to have to shell out hundreds more for a new motor? He leaves, telling me to call when I am ready for the motor and says I will have to manually open and close the door. IT GETS WORSE. The next day, I go to leave for work and I can't budge the door. I have pulled the emergency release, it is completely disengaged and the door won't budge. So I call Precision Door svc again. Megan tells me that someone will be here within an hour. Needless to say, that hour comes and goes with not so much as a phone call. I call back and am told the technician will call me with an ETA. He calls and tells me it will be about an hour. So, here I sit, missing work because I can't get my car out and still no one is here. Avoid these people!"
