"The painters arrived exactly on time and systematically moved all the furniture to the middle of the room, removed all paintings and clocks and covered the floors.  The furniture was not covered because they did not paint the ceilings.  They applied two coats  of paint in  the color I had chosen and timed it in such a way that the painting was finished the next day and the furniture could be returned to its original space, along with all wall hangings.  Also, the baseboards were washed and then painted.  My walls are rounded so establishing the end of a wall is rather time-consuming because they had to "draw" a line to indicate the end.    They brought a vacuum cleaner and and fastidiously cleaned after themselves.
  I was very pleased with Jose's Painting and plan to use them again when I have the rest of my house painted next year.  My neighbors also commented on the nice work.

"My wife and I are thrilled with the results. We previously removed a raised planter, in order to extend a pad for a spa installation, and removed a broken walkway. The planter against the brick walls was covered in a black waterproofing that was unsightly. Kaveh proposed to grind the surface, and apply a polymer coating. "The woman who answered the phone was nice and I was able to get an appointment within a few days. Unfortunately, Accent does not carry the type of product I am looking for (retractable waterproof/weatherproof awning). Clearly she did not have enough knowledge of the product line to even question whether an appointment was appropriate. Since Accent makes all of the awnings it sells, it should not be too difficult to train the phone staff. 
But when Jim came out, he did his best to make the appointment productive. He brainstormed solutions to my problem (rainwater ponding on my deck); smart solutions that unfortunately have already been tried and ruled out. He then remembered the name of a European company that used to make the kind of product I need, and spent some time on the computer hunting down leads. From there I was able to find a company that carries a product that will work for me.

"I called them to repair our awning after it stopped working about a week ago. At first, they said my motor stopped working due to wind damage and, therefore, the warranty wouldn't be covered. But after sending 3 different teams to my house, they were honest they couldn't 100% determine it was wind damage. Therefore they honored my warranty and replaced the motor for free. I'm very impressed with how they handled this because they are a small company and this was a big cost for them to incur.
