"This is THE company to use. I had an old 1907 wooden house sitting on a decaying brick foundation and needing a sister foundation installed and a complete seismic retrofit. Even during the bidding process, Brad from Alpha was extremely attentive without being assertive. I contacted four other companies although one I eliminated since they charged a fee for inspecting. Alpha was very timely with their bid and flexible when I needed help with the budget. All the way through the process, every single person at Alpha was extraordinarily good at customer relations, returned emails immediately, and stayed in constant contact throughout the entire process. Whenever there was a slight change to the original plan due to permitting or a plumbing adjustment, Alpha was very proactive and made sure everything was communicated clearly and promptly. I have really NEVER worked with a company that had such excellent communication skills. This is really one reason I selected them to do the work and, even though they may not have been the least expensive, it is worth the extra price for this reason alone. And Alpha Structural's work speaks for itself as well. Everything was done precisely and well beyond code, an unbid section of foundation was provided under the front porch without increase to the budget, and all materials used were of the highest quality. The project went on somewhat longer than estimated due to permit changes and a short weather delay but was still finished in a timely way. My home is our family's largest asset and it is a great relief to now know it is sitting on a solid foundation. "I hired Dalinghaus Construction to install two push Piers for a freestanding column/wall (bad clay soil causing movement). I meet with Kevin to go over the scope of work and he explained everything in detail. The price was the best I can find. Took one extra day to finish the work, but they did not charge me any additional fees. 3 month later, I had a feeling that the column/wall is moving again and call Kevin. He show up in a few days and show me there is no way that wall is still moving and he was right. They are very good at what they do and customer service is the best. Thank you very much."

"Our project was one step and a landing on our porch. Approx. 30 sq feet. We had the top layer of tile removed and concrete around the door area chiseled and jack hammered away. They then cut fossil stone for risers and step/landing in large squares as requested. They did put up a moisture barrier at the entrance and calked after grouting the stone. This was done upon the City of Downeys expectations. I believe that wouldn't have been done had I not called the city to come by to clarify the code for this job. So my only complaint is that some workers, actually most don't keep up or research the code. Then when the city does visit you may have to tear down a project and re do it. That can be costly and frustrating. Our porch and step look great. Not sure if the cost to us was cheap, but it is done and looks great."

"The guys at Del Mar Landscaping were great. Conrad, the owner of the company is the best. He is honest, understanding, and willing to work with you. His workers are also great - they always came with a smile and eager to work. They worked round the clock to get as much done as possible each day they came. Now, like all construction type jobs, there were a few things that didn't go as planned but the guys made sure to fix things as best as possible to give me what I envisioned / wanted. Ex. the putting green they installed was a little bumpy around the holes, wasn't as smooth as I'd hope it'd be - they came with a solution and fixed it within a few days of me letting them know. There were even a couple occasions where the plants they planted died a couple of weeks after they put them in and they, without question or hassle, replaced them. They are willing to own up to their mistakes (it happens) and fix things - which is refreshing as not all contractors I've dealt with are like this. I would definitely work with these guys again."
