"This is THE company to use. I had an old 1907 wooden house sitting on a decaying brick foundation and needing a sister foundation installed and a complete seismic retrofit. Even during the bidding process, Brad from Alpha was extremely attentive without being assertive. I contacted four other companies although one I eliminated since they charged a fee for inspecting. Alpha was very timely with their bid and flexible when I needed help with the budget. All the way through the process, every single person at Alpha was extraordinarily good at customer relations, returned emails immediately, and stayed in constant contact throughout the entire process. Whenever there was a slight change to the original plan due to permitting or a plumbing adjustment, Alpha was very proactive and made sure everything was communicated clearly and promptly. I have really NEVER worked with a company that had such excellent communication skills. This is really one reason I selected them to do the work and, even though they may not have been the least expensive, it is worth the extra price for this reason alone. And Alpha Structural's work speaks for itself as well. Everything was done precisely and well beyond code, an unbid section of foundation was provided under the front porch without increase to the budget, and all materials used were of the highest quality. The project went on somewhat longer than estimated due to permit changes and a short weather delay but was still finished in a timely way. My home is our family's largest asset and it is a great relief to now know it is sitting on a solid foundation. "Alan came out same day within couple of hours to clear a clogged bathtub drain. Worked on it for some time, went above and beyond to get it drained but no luck' House is 50 + years old with cast iron pipes so I was not surprised when he said ones under the tub needed to be replaced. Had been giving us trouble for several years and had been getting worse. He wrote a proposal and said he could do the next day as it was too late to start that day. James the owner showed up early next morning and went over what needed to be done. Gave a fair price and Alan showed up hr or so later and got started. Worked all day bless his heart. Got drain running smoothly. It's been about 2 weeks and all still going great. Have had a number of plumbing jobs done in the past by different companies but James Degennaro was by far the best. Both he and Alan were great and professional and did great work and clean up. .Would absolutely hire again and recommend . So glad I found them. He carefully reviewed the design and recommended some alternatives to the plants/sizes called for in the design. "Andrew was very professional, friendly and accommodating. He gave us a great price and was very knowledgeable. I kept going back and fourth, changing the plan and he was very nice about it and answered all my questions. I would recommend him to a friend or family member without hesitation. He even set me up to pour my own dog pad at no cost since my plan resulted in using the full amount of the trucks capacity. So I m order to keep the cost down, instead of telling me I had to buy another truck, he just offered to set me up so I could just mix and pour a few bags myself. Lastly, we ran into a bit of a issue with my new house s side gate, the builder made the gate too low and ram bolted the studs into the cinderblock wall, thus, the gate could not be taken off and moved. Andrew came up with the solution of trimming the bottom to make room for the pour. I was skeptical, thinking it might look weird, but it looked great. And when I odorants expressed concerns about the issue, his response was even if I have to buy you a new gate, I ll honor my bid. That s legit."
