Saddleback Plumbing Heating & Air

DO NOT USE Saddleback for plumbing. Maybe they are still good at HVAC, but their plumbers have little to no knowledge of what they are doing. We used these guys several years ago to replace the water heater, and they did an ok job. So I'm very disappointed to say that they have gone downhill. We called them many times this year (2022) all for the same issue. in April they came out to reseat a toilet that was loose and clogging. A month later they were called back as it was clogging again. They snaked the line and tightened the seat down. A month later it was having the same issue. They then replaced the toilet. 2 months after that it clogged again, and they tightened it down. A month later, it was the same issue, and they refused to come out on warranty. Well, after spending a ton of money with these guys for the same issue we'd had enough. We called another plumber who was highly rated. We were disheartened to learn that not only was the flange installed wrong, but the the installation was not on right. There was also excess wax contaminated with feces due to the loose toilet. Shoddy work, and a refusal to fulfill expensive warranty issues means that this company uses poor quality workers and no longer cares about it's customers. I don't care how sorry the owner is. They've had too many chances to make it right, and they Royally screwed up all of them. Avoid, unless you like clogs and headaches.

Excellent. The technician was able to clear the drain and replaced a new cap on the outside drain access. While he was here he replaced a kitchen faucet. He was very thorough in checking that the drain was clear and no leaks.

Job was pretty straightforward and went well. The only hiccup was a damaged part, prior to arrival, that had to be replaced with a rush order. The job was delayed by one day, but fortunately this was just a minor inconvenience. The work was done professionally and I am very pleased with the results.

It went well. They provided an estimate which appears on the high side. We need an estimate from another provider to validate the pricing and recommended repairs.

The whole experience was great! From my 1st phone call, spoke with Sandy who was very pleasant & helpful. Scott arrived promptly and answered & explained everything about a water heaters. He did an excellent job with the install, very neat & clean. We will definitely will use Saddleback Plumbing & Heating again.

Was referred to Saddleback Plumbing by a neighbor, who had a similar problem. The work done by "Vinnie" (the technician) was excellent. He was professional and courteous in that he explained possible scenarios involving the pipe leak, prior to starting work. Then he provided updates as he proceeded to determine the exact location of the leak. Once the leak was found, the repair was done quickly. I was lucky as this leak was not that serious and relatively easy to fix; it could have been a lot worse! He cleaned-up the work area, and charged me a fair price. I will definitely call this company again for my future plumbing needs.

Perfectly done. The plumber had to run the snake deep into the piping to get the entire clog cleared out. It took several attempts.

They inspected the lines and gave sound advice as to how best to handle the situation. They ended up advising to not do anything given the age of the air conditioner and more practical alternatives if the lines were to start leaking in the future ( not likely due to recent issue even though I had hit them with a reciprocating saw during some construction ). The service technician was honest and thorough in evaluating the overall situation. I will definitely contact them for any future plumbing or AC needs.

They told us it would be $4899.00 to replace a seven hundred dollar heater. That it would be 1600.00 to rebuild it. We got another quote and went with the other company. We had used them for other plumbing but will not in the future.

Our normal plumber, Ryan, is a consummate professional plumber, as have been all previous Saddleback plumbers helping us on projects and emergencies over the past 20 years. We are very picky consumers of services, and Saddleback Plumbing has continually exceeded our expectations.

I received a call from my renter at my condo that they did not have hot water, so I called Saddleback based on the Angie's reviews. They did not have any openings that day but was able to schedule me for the following day (a Friday) at 9am. I requested that the technician call me to give me an estimate prior to starting any repair. On Friday at 11:30am the technician, Scott, called me and gave me an estimate for repair of the heater for $781, or replacement at $1,813, but he gave me a litany of "reasons" why I should replace it because it was "out of code", which didn't sound right to me because I only recently purchased the condo and the inspection never mentioned the "out of code" conditions. As a result, I authorized him to repair the heater instead. Two hours later I received a second call from Scott saying that they did not have the parts in stock so that they would have to order them and they would not come in until "sometime next week"; however, if I wanted to replace the water heater they could do it that day. Obviously, on a Friday at 2pm it was too late for me to call someone else and I could not leave my renters without hot water until "sometime next week". With my back against the wall I had to go with the water heater replacement and was clearly left with the feeling of being "had". I am sure this happens all the time - my situation is not unique. The water heater was replaced that day, hot water is on again and my renters are satisfied. However, I just want to provide Saddleback with the feedback that although this may be business as usual for you, it did not sit well with me and left me angry and frustrated - I took notice.

From my first call into them I was impressed, and the positive impressions carried right thru to the tech being right on time, being polite and efficient and the repair was done properly. I watched him do 2 separate tests to make sure the leak was truly solved. I believe the price was fair although I'm not an expert on what these things should cost. I will use them again for sure, highly recommended!

great job. The plumber went above and beyond when it came to getting my faucet calcification off the tile so it didn`t show with the new faucet being a slightly different size. Great attitude. sorry, I cant remember his name as it was a while ago. I believe the owners name was Joe who also was very fair with his pricing and answering questions.
