"Javier was a life saver!!! Called him panicked as I attempted to lay flooring in a bedroom with only 2 days before new furniture is to be delivered. Realized the first day of laying flooring that I was not gonna be able to complete before furniture delivery. Went on Angie requesting help installing my flooring. Javier answered my request and came the next morning and had the flooring and base boards installed in 1 1/2 hours. Looks beautiful. Javier came with a smile, so nice and I cannot thank him and is cohort enough for bailing me out. "

The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the oven was higher than the counter about a quarter inch while the back of the oven is flush with the counter. Before the kitchen floor was replaced with laminates, the entire oven was flush with the counter, and the reason was the laminate was installed under the front legs of the oven where the floor was bare before that caused the oven front to be elevated."

I had a specific goal: a dark espresso color that still kept the natural texture of the European Ash. No premade product matched what I wanted, so they created a custom stain and oil/wax blend that brought the floors back to life while preserving the character of the wood. They lightly sanded (without removing texture), worked within my budget, and were extremely dedicated. They even came back to redo the kitchen area with another coat to perfect the color and checked in often to make sure I was happy. The floors now look rich, even, and completely transformed. Highly recommend Mongalo Designs Flooring for refinishing and custom color work!"
