"We had a variety of pests at our Orange County property. The pests were entering from multiple openings in and around our condo attic. Some had even entered into our living area. TriCounty came in and assessed the situation and gave our HOA a couple options. TriCounty began the process by first closing all entry points. Next, they set traps and monitored any potential activity for 2 weeks. Once they confirmed there was no activity, they scheduled the complete removal of all debris including insulation. Once the debris was removed, they completely sanitized the entire attic and replaced with new insulation. We are completely satisfied with their attention to detail and their care for the cleanliness of our property and living area. I highly recommend TriCounty Trappers for any pest control and remediation."

"It's fantastic. They come every month. He also covers roaches, ants, rats, flees, bees, goafers, just pest control in general, but he doesn't do termites. My monthly is $40. He's very personable, very friendly, very outgoing, just a really great guy to talk to."

"After extremely poor customer service from our former pest control service, we switched to Hydrex. We were offered a discount for paying a full year of service and the customer service has been excellent thus far. We have only had one service performed since we signed up but we are very hopeful this will be a very good pest control service provider. We also asked for early notification prior to service dates as we have a pet that must be kept inside on service days. Office staff has been friendly and pest control summaries (showing chemicals used) provided on service dates."

As well as developing a very successful state wide franchise with Hydrex Pest Control, he also held a number of patents. "It's been an incredible experience in hiring Bird Masters LA to take care of pressure washing my driveway, front and back yard restoring the concrete as if it was just layed out. Tree oil stains, dirt build up, bird droppings and tire marks have been completely removed. Soon after I had them humanely remove a bird nest and bird proof my home with bird spikes. They have also cleaned all my windows and screens in/out leaving them spotless. My home is now ready for a family event! thank you for your service in a timely manner and the peace of mind. "The work could not have gone better. An inspector came out for an estimate the day I called, and arranged to return the next day. The bees were safely relocated and the repairs completed in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend "Bee Catchers" to anyone in need of bee removal."

"No one wants to have to deal with a situation like this, but when you have gophers, you want them gone. CATCH Gopher Control was professional from the first phone call to the 3 house visits. Matt was professional and so nice. We have a small yard that was recently disrupted by installing a pool, and that apparently welcomed our first gopher which destroyed part of the lawn. All gone. We tried some "home remedies" that didn't work before calling these guys, and I wish we would have called them sooner!"

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Animal removal specialists specialize in removing critters and wildlife from in and around your home. These include:

  • Bats

  • Birds

  • Groundhogs

  • Moles and voles

  • Opossums

  • Mice and rats

  • Raccoons

  • Skunks

  • Squirrels

The specialist's method to remove these critters will depend on the animal. For example, groundhogs will be live-trapped and relocated, whereas, for birds, the expert will remove and discard the inactive nest and sanitize the area.

The lifespan of a bird's nest depends on the species. The building process can take from two days to three weeks. Once built, the nesting period for baby birds can last from two to ten weeks before they leave the nest. While most young birds are ready in two to six weeks, some predatory species may need up to two and a half months. Some species nest four to five times per year, so a nest could remain in use for several months. For specific information about a particular nest's longevity, it is best to consult a wildlife professional.

No, you shouldn’t have to worry about bats in your yard as long as they don’t make their way inside your house. Typically, bats hang around backyards in order to consume bugs, especially if they’re located in the U.S. Bats that are native to North America can consume more than 500 bugs per hour, so they may actually benefit your yard if mosquitoes are prevalent.

Yes, it’s possible for bats in your attic to find a way into your living spaces. Until you can properly remove the bats, the best course of action is to keep the attic doors closed and any holes sealed. Evidence suggests bats follow the airflow in your home, so they may try escaping from the attic to other parts of the house.

Keeping your pool cover clean is a good way to keep smaller animals from running across it or using it as shelter. Small animals may use leaf debris on top of the cover to hide. Cleaning also removes nuts that may fall from a nearby tree that could otherwise be a tempting snack for some animals, like squirrels.
