"The project went very well. Absolute Pools communicated all steps along the way and explained what was happening and results we would get once completed. They kept the yard clean, showed up on time every day, and found ways to help us cut our costs, and brought in supplies at the right times to be efficient. Absolute Pool was very organized so the whole pool revamping took 20-30 days to complete. I would definitely recommend them for your project, or at least allow them to bid the project."

"The crew was a bit late to get started, but did a good job once they arrived. They carried my stuff up to the 3rd floor since the elevator was very small.
Had some trouble putting the bed back together but overall a fine job. Some damage to my items, but don't know where along the line that happened. It could have happened in transit.

"John was available to start the work on a Friday afternoon. He installed the new outlet competently and completely. However, John made three trips to Home Depot to pick up supplies. The store is only 2 miles from my house and the first trip took over an hour. He needed to come back the following morning to complete the work because he needed two longer screws. Finally, he had quoted $200-250; but charged me $300 because the "supplies cost nearly $100.""

"The concrete and gate install went relatively quickly. The patio cover required permits which took some time. Once received, the patio went up quick and the planter brick repair was also quick. Overall a good partnership that I will hire again."

"I could not have been happier with the work that ESI did on my home, which included a full kitchen remodel, vaulting some ceilings, and installing 3 skylights. The end product I received was better than I dreamed it could have been. Their whole team is very professional and I got along with them very well. They were always on time and communicated things to me regularly throughout the process, always asking for my input on decisions but also giving their opinions when asked, as well. I actually missed having them in the house working after they were done!!! They are a bunch of great guys and true professionals. If you ever need help on a remodeling project, give them a call!

"When I called, I asked if they did hot tub repairs.   We've got a spa in our pool that was not working properly.  Apparently it needed a new main drain installed, so I asked if that was something they did.   He was great on the phone and showed up a few days later as promised to give a bid.  When he got here, he said that it wasn't something they did but could refer someone.  Then he said they could try something to unclog the drain.  I said great.   But then they never showed up or called back.    Another week wasted waiting for someone, and I've got to got through this whole process again trying to find someone to fix this.  Frustrating.

"We found them through Angie's List. The tree service was really good. The arborist was great & then the crew came out & cleaned everything up. It was great experience overall.

We had them come out again. This time the owner came out & they did a great job again with the trees. We mentioned that we were considering a sprinkler system & got a quote. That experience quite differently & we haven't used them since."

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

Both saunas and steam rooms offer some health benefits as well as a good return on investment. While there’s more research on saunas than steam rooms and fewer reported risks with steam rooms, the latter tend to be better for reducing stress. Which one is better depends on the benefits you’re looking for, your budget, and if you have space to build a sauna.

The primary difference between a steam shower and a sauna is the type of heat they produce. A sauna generates dry heat using electricity, while a steam shower creates wet heat from steam, resulting in nearly 100% humidity. A steam shower typically replaces an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and operates at a lower temperature (around 90-120°F) than a sauna, though the high humidity can make it feel just as warm. It is advisable to limit steam sessions to 20 minutes. In contrast, a sauna is a fully enclosed space that can be placed anywhere in a house and produces dry heat.

Considering the cost of tools, parts, and hiring assisted labor, building your own sauna can cost almost as much as purchasing one. It is less expensive to buy sauna kits, since they are premade and easier to set up. Still, you may need to hire a professional to assist in electric or plumbing installation.

No, you should only choose high-quality wood to build your sauna. Not all types of woods can withstand the pressure from heat or moisture. Only use softwoods, such as cedar and aspen, that are known for absorbing heat and resisting water.

A home sauna may be considered a luxury item by some homebuyers, which can provide a good return on investment. However, whether it increases your home's value ultimately depends on the buyer, as some may not want to take on the extra costs and maintenance associated with heating and upkeep.
