So Cal Builders & Design IncAfter submitting some basic requirements on Angies List, I received an email and call from SoCal Builders & Design. I spoke with Alex on the phone and noted what I was looking to do and helped me schedule a meeting appointment. Marina reached out the night before and confirmed our meeting time and date. With most companies they typically give you a window of time and far often too wide a range for anyone to have a life that day. Our meeting was scheduled at a specific time and Roei (Pronounced Roy) showed up at that exact time! I realize that not everyone and certainly not all business can function in precise time slots, but as someone that is a planner and appreciates a set schedule, I knew this was a great first impression. Roei was fantastic. We didn’t know anything about the industry or what was involved and he clearly laid out and set proper expectations. Every question was answered and more importantly it felt like you had a buddy over that was visiting which is great when having someone you don’t know in your home. We are currently in the planning step and have not began work but I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking to get some work done on the house. Thank you Roei. Thank you Marina. Shenon ConstructionAfter interviewing multiple GC’s, we ultimately decided on Tom and Shenon Construction because of his/their punctuality, professionalism, honestly, and experience. We are 75% done with our full house remodel and it’s been a pleasure working with them. Compared to other proposals they are a bit more expensive but you are paying for premium service and labor; there are no short cuts in work. There were multiple occasions where Tom and his crew went the extra mile and above and beyond, and were trustworthy and honest about work that deemed unnecessary or wasteful, which we appreciated since you’re investing thousands of dollars building your home. Construction MastersIf you have ever seen the show "Fixer Upper," then you have an idea of how much Construction Masters transformed our home and lives. Mickey and his team took our small 1960s kitchen with very limited storage space/living room and redesigned a beautiful and efficient kitchen, living room, and bathroom with a modern open floor plan. Throughout the process, Mickey saved us money and time where he could by advising options on materials/parts and solving unexpected problems that came up along the way. You can trust Mickey and his team to get the project done right. His crews was not only professional, but they also respected the work site and our privacy. While the remodel was going on, we had multiple neighbors compliment on not only the progress, but how clean and neat the work site stayed. Construction MastersMoshe, Mickey and the guys at Construction Masters did a stellar job on our huge home remodel. We added a second story to our small 2-1 craftsman bungalow in Westwood, nearly doubling it in size. We also moved a kitchen and living room wall and completely gutted our very old kitchen. We basically rebuilt the entire home, while doing out best retain and restore the character of our older home. We had tried to start this process over a few years, running into snags and unethical contractors along the way, and are so happy that we landed in the capable hands of this team. At every step along the way, we felt honestly communicated with and cared for on a personal level. They were top notch as well as courteous and considerate of our neighbors. Not only did they do a remarkable job and make our house the talk of the neighborhood, they went above and beyond to really be sure we were always 100% happy with all of the work being done. Even with the pandemic hitting right in the middle of our project, they managed to finish within our original timeline as promised. So Cal Builders & Design IncSo Cal Builders, replaced our roof, damaged drywall in our living and resurfaced our cabinets. They install a new sink and faucet, backsplash and quartz countertops. Our outdated 30 year old kitchen was transformed into a modern and gorgeous kitchen. The drywall in our living was replaced. Our living room was painted and looks better than it did before. We recently had our kitchen cabinets and counter tops, and master bathroom cabinets and counter tops redone by Mr. Cabinet Care, and we couldn’t be more pleased. I was impressed in so many ways. The sales person Rick Cole who met with us and wrote up the estimate impressed me with his knowledge and experience. He also gave us a preliminary timeline that fit with our schedule. Rick was no pressure, and he explained all of our options. He was very pleasant to deal with. The person who did the demolition arrived right on time, and completed the demolition of the old cabinets and counter tops in an efficient manner. He covered our floor to protect it, and he hung plastic drapes to reduce dust. He was very careful not to harm anything he wasn’t working on. Next Marco and Tony arrived on schedule and did an absolutely fantastic job installing all the new cabinets. They were also extremely careful not to cause any damage to the rest of the house. They were also very respectful of our home, our property, and us. Tony even did a little extra work for us with some of his leftover materials. After the cabinets were complete, Ramon and Cristian arrived on time and placed the quartz counter tops and back splash. They also did great job. Abel completed the project by doing the plumbing and electrical work that needed to be done. Every single person we worked with at Mr. Cabinet Care was easy to deal with, arrived on time, and was very professional and courteous. Everyone kept to the schedule we were given before the project started, and there were no surprise along the way. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations. The fit and finish of the cabinets and counter tops is perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Cabinet Care to my friends and family. Thanks guys for a job well done. We love our new kitchen.

Do not work with Marko. Received a verbal quote after going over the details of our project then 2 days later sends me a proposal that is $3,500 over his initial quote. Gave me the run around that material prices went up! Really after 2 days they went up that much? I have him a verbal yes that I like his quote then up charges on the proposal! After the back and forth we finally agreed on the price so I almost proceeded. I didn’t end up moving forward because then comes the details of the project. There were details that were different from what we agreed on. Then goes back the price increases. Overall just not trust worthy and you will be frustrated with the back and forth because they will do what they can to squeeze in and pad up the price as much as possible despite agreeing. Go else where you will just be frustrated or be on the hook during the project.
