"Tony and his team are just the best.  I have worked with OM Construction on a few projects, most recently the remodel of my kitchen.  Tony is always very responsive with me, and makes sure if I'm something is not to my satisfaction, it gets fixed right away. After many years of saving up to finally upgrade my very old kitchen and cabinets, I can't be more happy with the work that was performed.

"Our spring was broken on Saturday night and we are stuck in the house.  We are supposed to pick up some relatives on Sunday afternoon and we really needed the door fixed by then.  The next day(Sunday) we started making calls to find help.  First two calls went completely unanswered and they are our third call.  They answered call right away and gave us an estimate of when the service technical will arrive.  They are very punctual and went to work right away.  After about two hours of work we got a working door.  They charged us $200 for labor and $330 for the replacement spring.

"Goodfellas took care of us when we needed it! We had a pipe burst between floors in our multi-level house this summer, ruining our downstairs kitchen, and effecting some cabinetry in our upstairs kitchen. Once we got that clean-up out of the way and got the insurance claim started, we started shopping around for contractors that could help us out. We had three different estimates, but Goodfellas was the least expensive while still meeting all our needs. Our project manager Danny really set up a plan that would fix the damage, while also giving our upstairs kitchen a much needed facelift. His crew foreman Nir, and his crew—especially Arnold—was very helpful and efficient. It was easy to communicate with Nir via phone and text, and I would say I spoke to Danny via email at least a few times a week. Danny was really helpful in matching our new cabinets to the paint choice I had made for the remaining cabinets. They both made sure we were happy with each step and installment, or they fixed it until we were. We even ran into some insurance trouble midway through, putting a halt on our funds for the project. After explaining the whole nightmare to Danny, he was patient and waited with us until Nationwide could pull it together to help us finish this project. And once the final money was approved, Danny’s crew was quick to finish up the kitchen so that we could return once again to our normal lives. In short, they met our demands easily and did the project quickly and proficiently. Whenever there was a confusion or problem, it was easily communicated and handled. The crews were friendly and respectful of my family and house. Arnold went out of his way to make sure my kitchen upstairs was exactly how I wanted it, even down to giving me choice of threshold trim when he could have just slapped down any ol’ trim and I probably wouldn’t have noticed. And he always had a quick smile for my children. I would recommend this company to anyone needing work done in their home."

"

my wife was nagging me for the last couple of years  to upgrade the kitchen's look so that was my initial job

we had a very pleasant  meeting with tnl's manager meir.

we went over our needs and wants and the budget of course

the kitchen was very old (about 16 years) we a couple of idea's to keep it white and clean , and meir suggested to add some color accents and a different style for the kitchen cabinets.

we loved the ideas , and my wife had to ask meir about our master bathroom , he came out with a great idea for it with a small budget.

we had another meeting going through the details and the job started a week later.

the work was done to our satisfaction , the employees were extremely nice , cleaning all the daily building materials

along the way we decided to go with LED lights (saves money and good for the environment )

we picked new cabinets for the kitchen with meir's referral so we got a great deal on that and we were able to give the kitchen a bit more storage space because of the smart storage system we choose.

we installed gfci outlets that we didn't had before, new appliances (stainless steel) ,ceramic counter tops and ceramic tile for the flooring.

the color for accents was light mocha.

the master bathroom was repainted with almond cream' color, the faucets were replaced , new shower curtain and accessories installed.

new switches and laminated wood was installed on the floor.

the rest of the house was painted Navaho white, we replaced most of the switches and outlets to newer ones.

meir's team did a wonderful job and we even got it completed couple of days before.

our place looks great and feels like the house we always wanted , we already recommended TNL construction to our friend.

project ended 8/8/2014

"I decided to plant big trees on the the front yard for much-needed shade. I wanted a stone retaining wall, actually several. I also requested a few more on the back, making sure I had enough space for these trees. Indeed they did a great job. I am pleased with the punctuality of the team, they worked pretty fast. The walls were made sturdy and most important ... aligned!"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

When deciding between fence post foam and concrete, the best choice depends on your specific needs and priorities. Concrete is generally considered stronger and more durable, making it the preferred option for heavy, load-bearing posts. However, expanding foam offers several advantages, such as being more eco-friendly and curing much faster. For smaller fences or those made with lighter materials like vinyl or wire mesh, post foam is a good alternative. While concrete is more affordable, it is also harder to work with and has a longer curing time.

Armadillos are attracted to water, so a leaky irrigation system or an overwatered lawn can encourage them to move in. They especially like wet areas where they can burrow and loose soil where they can dig for grubs. They are also attracted to dense ground cover, where they can often find food sources.

The ideal spacing for four-by-four residential fence posts is usually about 6 to 8 feet between posts. However, if the fence is particularly high or you live in a very windy region, you might want to space them closer together for better stability. A fence pro can help you decide on your post spacing.

In the vast majority of cases, chain-link fences are less expensive than wood fences. Installing a wood fence costs anywhere from 20% to 30% more than a chain-link fence, or an average of $3,100, whereas a similarly sized chain-link fence will average around $2,400. Even with add-ons and additional protective finishes, a chain-link fence is very likely to cost you less than a wood fence. The only exception would be a split rail wood fence, which can cost about half the price of a chain-link fence or less.

You can use a few different tactics to prevent your deck gate from sagging. Aside from using strong, rot-resistant woods, introducing a diagonal element—such as a tension rod or solid piece of wood to act as a brace—across the gate will offer better support. You can also use rigid joists to prevent the gate from sagging.
