"Ben did some remodeling for our house in 2017. He was clear about the necessary steps and was dependable. He showed up when he said he would, and the work was finished on time and on budget which is very rare for contractors. He also provided thoughtful solutions to an outdoor drainage issue we had in our older home. A couple of years later we also hired him to do flooring at my relative's house, and he again completed the work on time and on budget with his team. We have always loved working with him and would gladly use him as our contractor on future jobs."

"It was hectic, because they performed all the work in three weeks. They were very thoughtful and courteous. The workers made sure that they cleaned up thoroughly each evening. They were very prompt in responding to changes and issues and unlike some contractors, both the owner and supervisor made regular visit to ensure out satisfaction. All the work was done professionally"

"Excellent contractor! I went with LA Experts Builders on my kitchen and bathroom remodel and it was a great experience to work with them. Nir and his crew were always on time, did everything as they promised and as I requested. There were no issues and project was finished on time. "We hired Best Builders Group to do a complete remodeling of our kitchen, powder room, breakfast room and laundry room. We honestly couldn’t be happier with the final results. Sofia, Zohar and the entire team were very professionals. They did all they could and made sure that we will get the end results we wanted and they didn’t let us make any bad choices that will end up with a mistake or problem. All the sub-contractors that also worked at the house with them, did a great work (each one in his own specialty). The workers and Sofia from the office were prompt, polite, neat and just great people to deal with and to be around. At first, when we met with Zohar, he mentioned to us that he have no problem to use any of our sub-contractors if we want to but he advised us to use their sub-contractors because his experience with them from the past. In few words we can say that they did an excellent work all around. Our budget was not high but also not low. Zohar was able to work with us around our budget and we were very happy with that. Overall – we are extremely happy and we fell lucky that we had hire this company. Our remodeling of the kitchen and laundry included everything besides the appliances. All the appliances were purchased by us and with the help of Zohar. Zohar went with us to his vendor and he was able to find us a great deal for all the appliances and the laundry machines."

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

Traditionally, bungalows are single-story homes, although having a half or partial story on top of the first floor is common. While adding a second story to a bungalow is certainly possible, the home would no longer be considered a bungalow by the strictest definition.

Framing a house with steel generally takes less time—around five to eight weeks—than most building materials. The steel components can also be made quickly off-site and manufactured with pre-punched holes for running piping and electrical wiring, which will lessen the prep work and extra labor during construction.

Framing a basement takes three to five days, on average, when completed by a professional, though it may take longer for a larger space. Keep in mind this doesn’t include the time to complete the design, obtain permits, and install the drywall on the framing. On average, fully finishing a basement takes an average of 45 days.

Yes, a 2x6 should hold a porch swing and safely support the load. A smaller joist runs the risk of it not offering enough support for the swing. If you have a joist smaller than 2x6, add additional bolstering support.

Costs depend on desk size, labor, included features like drawers or motorized height adjustments, and required wall anchoring.
