"We hired McCormick for a bathroom remodel, and the whole process was smooth and professional. Khaled helped us make smart choices on design and materials that worked for both our budget and style. "Our roof was in bad shape and we needed to have it replaced. I had gotten estimates and decided to go with Home Pro Remodeling. Emil and Brian were our contact people for the project. Emil was very professional and paid attention to our concerns. He worked with us through the entire project to our complete satisfaction. Brian is extremely courteous and helpful as well! The project went very smoothly, was completed before the initial project end date, and the results were beyond our expectations. The job turned our beautifully! Our new roof looks FANTASTIC! Our neighbors have commented to us how great it looks. We are very pleased with our experience with Home Pro Remodeling and would definitely recommend them."

"I worked with Daniel and he was very prompt and responsive, did exactly what he said he'd do. He worked underneath the house in an area I couldn't access. Took and showed me pics to illustrate the issues and he worked excellently."

Closets questions, answered by experts

The differences between a built-in closet and a walk-in aren’t that different from a built-in wardrobe and a walk-in closet. It’s fairly simple—a walk-in closet is a closet you can physically enter, stand in, and walk around in. A built-in (whether wardrobe or closet) is more akin to covered shelves installed into a recess in the wall. Another big difference is walk-in closets almost always have traditional full-size doors, while built-ins either have no doors or use sliding doors.

The features you choose for your laundry room to make it perfect depend largely on how you'll use the space, the size of your family, and their laundry needs. A perfect laundry room will have ample storage space, a clothes washer and dryer that are large enough for your needs and have good convenience features, and enough room to move around and work with enough countertop space to make laundry chores as easy as possible.

There are a few reasons custom closets are expensive: materials used, the luxury factor, and time to build. The people who can afford custom closets are those who can afford increased rates, and construction workers and contractors know this and charge accordingly. The time to build custom closets is substantial, especially if expensive material is being used or intricate details (like carved wood) are added to the project.

A "reach-in pantry" is a smaller, cabinet-style pantry that allows you to grab items by simply reaching inside. On the other hand, a "walk-in pantry" is like a closet or small room that offers a larger space that you can physically enter to get your food. Walk-in pantries allow for more customizable shelving. A reach-in pantry is usually around 5 feet wide by 2 feet deep, while a walk-in pantry is closer to 5 feet by 5 feet or larger.

A foyer or entryway is typically a formal landing area for guests, located at the primary entrance of a home. It is often more formally decorated and connects directly to the main living space. In contrast, a mudroom is a more casual, utilitarian room, usually leading in from a secondary entrance like a garage or the side or rear of the house. It serves as a space for residents to remove shoes and outerwear to keep mud, dirt, and water out of the main home.
