"Kyle Jaeger called same day I listed my project and made and came over the next morning on time. We discussed the details, agreed on a price and he came by on Monday and arrived on time. He immediately began to work without a break completing the project in about 3 hours. He cleaned all the fountain parts, re-stained all the tiers. He also stained a couple of items that were not part of the project. At the conclusion of the project Kyle turned on the fountain and it was operating at peak efficiency. Kyle was very professional, courteous and very personable. We would hire him and his company if we have anther project of this type. Overall we were extremely pleased with the outcome and would enthusiastically recommend this company for pool, fountain, and waterfall projects. wit"

"Marv came, same day as I called and checked out what may be a leak in my garden fountain. He gave me a suggestion to make sure that the problem with the fountain is actually a leak within the fountain or something else. He did not charge me for his time. Would definitely hire in the future."

"As the 1st experience with Ken, the owner and installer, everything went smoothly. Ken sent me to a fabulous tile and stone place which not only had an amazing selection, but I was impressed with the quality and price. Ken estimated and completed the job on time and his attention to detail and commitment to his craft are hard to find and greatly appreciated.

Ken also found me new square sinks and took the initiative to replace the sink stops to ensure that the finished product was top notch. The project was conducted within certain space constraints and it was completed without incident and on time. I trust Ken with my keys and in my home while at work, and his is meticulous about the clean up. He is very hands on and does not contract out the work - he actually does the work and oversees the entire project. Affordable Tile is not the least expensive, but prices are fair and the outcome is priceless!

I wouldn't use anyone else and look forward to collaborating with Ken on my next project. I recommend this provider without any reservations and am thrilled to have him on my g-to list!

"We had a wonderful experience with Isaiah and his team. We remodeled our small backyard to remove a bunch of concrete and put down turf grass, planters, irrigation, lighting, and a patio. Isaiah did the design for us and we love it. He even picked out all the plants for us. They started within a few weeks of the initial meeting and knocked it out in a week with a pretty large team. We cannot recommend this company enough!"

Fountains questions, answered by experts

You can use the outdoor spigot to do many things like cleaning patio furniture, washing down driveways, or watering plants. You can also attach outdoor hoses and some sprinkler systems to your spigot, making it much easier to keep your grass and plants watered. When connecting a hose or sprinkler system to your outdoor spigot, pay close attention to the manufacturer’s instructions, as they can ensure a snug fit with no leaks.

One of the most important parts of building a pond is digging the right depth. Your pond needs to be at least one to two feet deep. The specifics of the depth will depend on factors such as the placement of the pond and whether you plan on having fish. If you have fish in your pond, it will need to be at least two feet deep.

When deep cleaning your koi pond, transfer fish to a clean, uncontaminated container at least one foot deep, like a large bucket, tub, or kiddie pond. Fill the container with their existing pond water to avoid shocking them, and place the container in full or partial shade. When it’s time to reintroduce them into the pond, slowly add the new water to the container before adding the fish and container water back into the pond.

Like pools, ponds can be a safety risk, so they may increase your homeowners insurance. Be sure to let your insurance company know if you build a pond on your property—they may have safety requirements in order to keep your premium from increasing.

Yes, your fish should stay alive in a frozen pond if you winterize it properly. By ensuring your pond has enough oxygen, good water quality, and a hole to release harmful gases, your pond and fish have the best chance of staying alive and healthy. However, if you have tropical fish, they should be overwintered indoors.
