I've used him for 10 years. There was a terrible review of him that was totally untrue. They are great. He did 2 major remodels in our house. He only works word of mouth and in 2000 we found him through a friend of a friend. It was not the cheapest bid back then but it was the most detailed. He went out to each of the subs and got the actual charge amount as opposed to the people who said they would give us an allowance of X, Y and Z. He actually priced out the whole thing and did a great job It was a great crew, they showed up every day. We were thinking about another remodel a few years after that one and we wouldn't even think of anyone else. So we went back and they came, the crew shows up and it's the same guys down to the laborers from 10 years ago. I don't know any contractors that has such a great crew. From the most skilled guy to the least skilled guy it's the same crew, they all showed up everyday for a year. If I can take a bunch of guys taking over half my house for a 1,000 square foot addition that's saying something. I had so many changes and ideas, I would ask him if it was possible and he would go the extra mile to find out if it could be done. Even if he had never seen it before. I had commercial stuff that had never done in a residential house, they made windows and it was a pretty huge undertaking and it was great. Most recently he's been helping me with a small project so I've been consulting with him, we are working on moving a small fountain in the yard. He's just been super. Even if I have questions about stuff that won't work out to be a job for him he will stil help me and make calls and will meet them on site with me and try to figure it out. He's not the cheapest but he's fair priced. Other's say they can do it for less but it really ends up being about the same.
