"Chris is very knowledgeable about swimming pool and spa equipment. He was able to quickly determined that the cause of my recently installed, by another company, pool/spa heater was not coming on was that the automatic valves controlling the water flow were not synchronized. He quickly corrected this problem. He pointed out that the heater could also be effected by low water flow caused by a plugged up pool filter. He explained very clearly what he recommended for repairs. Another problem he noticed was that the communication cable from the heater to the control panel had been spliced and wrapped in electrical tape. The price was very fair. I will call him again as needed."

"Best pool service weâ ve ever had since being our home. Weâ ve had to fire at least two different companies because they wouldnâ t show up on their scheduled days, our pool was either dirty or turning green, our filters werenâ t being cleaned. Ever since Aqua Pros took over, our pool has been crystal clear and can swim any time we want. We donâ t have to worry about â preppingâ the pool to swim anymore. No more algae and the filters are always working strong. 100% recommend this company!"

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

A professional land surveyor ensures accurate property boundaries and prevent legal disputes.

A few different types of land surveys can help determine certain features and boundaries of your property. These include:

  • Boundary surveys describe the actual borders of a property. These are generally required when trying to get construction permits issued.

  • Location surveys provide much of the same information as a boundary survey but also include in-depth information about any improvements made to your property.

  • Mortgage location surveys are usually required by lenders and title companies before financing or offering an insurance policy.

  • Site-planning surveys are done before applying for building permits and can be issued before any major home improvements.

  • Topographic surveys provide a formal map of land elevations. It can also describe the location and size of natural features and any land improvements.

Land surveying can help give clear guidance on your property boundaries for numerous situations. And in some cases, having your land surveyed is a requirement. Some common reasons to have your land surveyed include:

  • Planning for construction projects, like building a fence

  • Locating utilities, such as plumbing fixtures

  • Settling property line disputes

  • Creating subdivisions

  • Meeting mortgage requirements

  • Selling your property

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.

This is fairly rare, but sometimes the local government or a group like a historical society will label a tree as a landmark, or historical item. These designations almost always come with a small, on-site plaque for identification, but you should also be able to look up protected trees in your area on a city website or similar list. If the tree in question is a landmark, call your local government and ask how to proceed before making any plans.
