"I hired A1 pressure washing to pressure wash the exterior of my house, clean the windows, my concrete driveway and patio in the back yard. They did an AMAZING job making my house go from looking dusty, stained and old to looking brand new. They were so nice, fast and efficient with the job and did amazing as well as had amazing customer service. They are the best business in town and I will definitely be hiring them again in the near future."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Professionals use advanced, eco-friendly products that ensure effective yet safe cleaning.

Hiring a professional house cleaner costs between $120 and $240 per visit. Most homeowners can expect to pay an average of $170 for a cleaning and disinfecting service. House cleaning services may include disinfection of high-touch surfaces, but it’s best to ask your cleaner to be sure it’s included in their services.

There are many different cleaning services available to tidy up and take care of specific cleaning tasks, you may not want to tackle yourself. That allows you to mix-and-match DIY with professional services to get the deep clean you want..

If you’re looking for someone to organize your stuff, you can hire for that, too. For an average of $526, professional organizers can tackle closets, attics, garages, and more, which could be helpful if you’re making major home changes.

Steam mopping effectively cleans and sanitizes floors to kill germs and remove ingrained grease and grime. However, vacuuming or sweeping the flooring first is always a good idea. This removes the larger dust and debris particles that can end up being pushed around the floor by a non-suctioning steam cleaner.

If you don’t want to use dishwasher pods, you can use liquid or powder dishwasher detergent or dishwasher tablets. Alternatively, you can make a DIY dish detergent by putting two or three drops of liquid dishwashing soap in the dispenser and filling the rest with baking soda. You should never use laundry detergent, household all-purpose cleaners, or a full dispenser of liquid dish detergent.
