"Following first instincts in kitchen remodeling, we went to the Home Depot Design Center….and, although their service was polite and well-organized, we had no idea of what it was we really wanted, and so left with the same lack of inspiration we had going in. Only by serendipity (making a fortunate discovery by accident) did I stop a Remodel Works contractor driving a company vehicle from a job site, and asked for his business card. We then stopped by their show room at 12147 Kirkham Rd in Poway. We found helpful staff there, and examples of everything needed for a remodel - including various displays making it a bit easier to reimagine changes to our kitchen. John De Luca, Kitchenaire Extraordinaire was our Project Manager- friendly, professional, and talented. John came to our house, studied with us what we wanted to keep, and what we wanted to change. He took measurements and photographs that day; then back to his office to apply 3D software. What had been a lack of inspiration on our part, he set to software. He never pushed any product brand or style, he simply explained pros and cons of alternatives. John later portrayed (on 3D software) what products we said we liked, and superimposed (in detail) everything into possible revisions. Once we put everything together we were no longer confused. We knew exactly what we wanted. We could see it. Our onsite Project Manager, Daniel, supervised everything and did an amazing job of coordinating the entire project. From demolition to final touch-ups, Remodel Works’ whole approach was collaborative, and they kept us informed every step of the way.
