Gilbert Construction Design & Remodeling

It was honestly the best experience! The attention to detail was what impressed me the most. The bid was very detailed and the Gilberts were with us every step of the way. Chad took every single one of my many calls. Discussed options for change orders and kept us apprised of all that was going on. Wendy came in with such great ideas on how to set up the kitchen to maximize the space to make it look and feel huge. Was so happy and satisfied that we went on to remodel two more houses with them!!

We just finished our third major remodel with Gilbert Construction in about six years, and they have completely transformed our house. Our first remodel was an above the garage addition with two bedrooms, a bathroom, living room space, large closet and balcony. Last year we remodeled our kitchen (knocked down a wall, added several square feet of counter space, high end cabinets and a bar), and this year we remodeled our two downstairs bathrooms (relocated a toilet and sink, all new shower and bath, new floors and tiles). Honestly our house looks like it went through one of those home remodeling television shows. We love Gilbert Construction because they are able to take our somewhat fuzzy remodeling ideas and turn them into something spectacular. And they are able to take on any part of the project and clearly have the knowledge and skills to handle complex jobs. We love that it's a family run company that we've come to know and trust over the last several years. Their prices are extremely reasonable and fair. Chad and Greg have a lot of ideas that add small touches to a project that really complete the space. For us it was things like centering the kitchen sink with our kitchen window, using the hexagonal shower floor tile as a backsplash for our bathroom vanity, etc. that really added to the final look of our remodels. We wholeheartedly recommend using Gilbert Construction.

Perfect. Greg was very responsive to all of my requests, a pleasure to work with. He stayed within the contract price we agreed on, started and finished right on time. The kitchen looks great.

Greg was wonderful to work with right from the start.  I interviewed several contractors and he was the most helpful.  He removed old rotten wood boards from the front of my house and replaced with stucco.  He was very informative and his price for all he did was very reasonable.  The workers showed up when scheduled, and they were very professional and nice.  If we had a question or a problem came up, they were very responsive and helpful.  The whole job took about 25 days.  When it was done, they left the place very clean.  I would recommend this company for any contract work needed.

It was phenomenal. They got the job done over 4 and a half months. They were upfront with communication and there were no surprises. The cleanup was spotless and they cleaned up on a daily basis.

The owner was is excellent.  He explained the process.  His price was excellent.  They were thorough and did the whole process.  They have a construction license, because other companies that I contacted don’t have a license to construct or have other license that is not related to construction.  Their professionalism stood out and they were hands on with the job.  The owner was hands on and worked with his son.  His son was running the construction and he was good.  The whole process was great.  I will use them again and I will recommend them to anyone.

From the start we have been getting what we expected to get with no surprises.  Both Greg and his crew are highly competent and professional.  This is our second whole house remodel.  First with Greg.  We will use him again and won't hesitate to recommend him.

Working with Greg (the owner) was great. He came out on time to give us a quote, and unlike the other bidders who just speculated, actually checked out the framing in our attic to determine if a load was wall bearing. The bid was very competitive, and we had a strong recommendation from a friend who had used Gilbert Construction for his own remodel.
Greg was great in terms of working with us. He was completely flexible in terms of letting us choose what we wanted to do ourselves. Scheduling worked out very well. For example, the drywallers finished on Friday, letting us paint over the weekend, and the cabinet install started on Monday.
Overall, there were no major surprises along the way, and things stayed on schedule. We added some window replacement and a bit of extra plumbing to the job as it progressed, but the original quoted work was completed as-bid. We had a few issues with the electrical subcontractors, but nothing major. The rest of the subcontractors were all great.
We'll use Gibert Construction again for future projects, and have already recommended them to friends.

They were awesome. The price was awesome. They were neat and tidy and did a great job. He sat down and explained everything. The owner was involved in the project the whole time. The same people came the whole time. The whole experience was great.

It went very smoothly.

He is very responsive to requests and cleans up the work site regularly. When we found something that needed attention he was quick to respond and always upbeat and personable.

VERY GOOD AND REASONABLY PRICED. CAME IN UNDER BUDGET.
