"Wow Isaiah is the most knowledgeable, ethical, reasonable plumber I’ve ever encountered. He acquired and installed a Koehler toilet for me. Can’t say enough about our engagement and he and JT’s work. I intend to utilize CC and Sons for any plumbing needs I have."

"It was all done by phone and e-mail contacts with Ryan and their great staff at the office.  They did a before and after pictures of the ducting.  It was finished on time.  I did not hear anything negative from the renter and from the property manager.   All I was told by my property manager that everything works and okay. They did not require a down payment and had a choice of paying it by credit card or I even mail a check.  I love how they answer the phone and to hear their greetings "how can I make you smile today?" as it did helped me to calm down while looking for contractors in a hurry. They are very professional and friendly.

Small jobs welcome

"He installed a new toilet for us. I have health issues that require a taller bowl, 19 inches. Or more. He knew that we were senior citizens, so he found an economical yet classy toilet that met the requirements I asked for. He was quick with the installation and left the area cleaner than he found it. He was very friendly and courteous. I enjoyed talking with him, as I had worked for a plumber in my younger days and had done all the bathroom needs up until 5 years ago. A M Plumbing will be my go-to service from now on."

"I called two other plumbers and got no answer. Discount Plumbing showed up on time and put in a shut off valve in the water line going into the house and changed a leaking water valve for my washing machine. I will call them again if I need a plumber."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

In most areas, drain cleaning professionals don’t technically need a license, as they aren’t altering your plumbing system in any way. However, we recommend hiring a drain cleaning professional with a plumbing license and certification. Certified plumbers are more likely to provide professional solutions to drain clogs without damaging your system. They’ll also have the diagnostic tools and experience necessary to remove the clog entirely rather than providing a temporary solution, as a handyperson might. Use Angi’s state licensing tool to check your plumber’s professional licenses before hiring.

Plumbers can be held liable for their work for anywhere from a year to six years, depending on where you live, but in most states, premises liability lasts for three to four years. You can contact your state’s licensing board to find out how long your plumber is liable. Your local building department or a consumer protection agency in your area can also confirm the timeline for you.

If you notice water leaking down the side of the bowl or tank and you don’t notice any cracks in the porcelain, the odds are that it’s condensation. If you notice water around the base of the toilet, this points to a leak. Check for loose bolts. A sewage odor may also indicate a broken toilet flange.

Yes. Pipes will thaw on their own as the weather warms up and gets above freezing. Once it warms up, it should take a day or two for pipes to thaw. If you’re worried about your pipes bursting and warm weather isn’t coming for a few days, you should take precautions to keep your pipes as warm as possible.

Although air in your water lines won’t affect the overall quality of your water, it will lead to problems with your well water system if not addressed. Over time, too much air in your water lines can create blockages in your pipes, cause insufficient water flow to your taps and appliances, loosen pipes, and potentially damage important components of your well including your well pump and pressure tank.
