"Anthony installed a security screen door on my front door, installed electric pathway lighting, installed library shelves, re- routed the electricity, put in a sliding barn door, re built a wall in the library. And he removed a rat damaged wall between my pantry and laundry room, reworked my pantry and a put in a new pantry door. He also painted and replaced my damaged plastic pipes with copper throughout my house. Anthony is very professional and personable. His rates were very reasonable as well. I would recommend him highly."

"Edison was very professional and did a great job installing my mom’s and mine front security door. He also did a few other projects around the house like installing a bedroom ceiling fan and towel rack. Highly recommend for handyman services. His prices are very reasonable as well."

"Jose Caledon came and checked the issue. In less than 5 mns, he knew what the issue was. He opened up the firepit and sacked out all the water stuck in the pipe. Fire back the firepit and voilà...all working great. Thank you so much Jose. Appreciate your promptness and service."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

According to the National Fire Protection Association, dryers and washing machines cause over 15,000 fires a year, with dryers causing about 92 percent of those fires. Because dryer fires are more common than you might think, it’s important to clear the lint trap regularly and have annual dryer vent cleanings.

A grease fire starts if hot cooking oil comes into contact with a heat source, such as an electric heating element or the flame on a gas range. Once the grease is ignited, it can be very difficult to put out.

The best way to store firewood is outdoors and away from your home, shed, or garage. Stacking wood against your house can be a fire hazard and attract unwanted pests. Store your firewood under a shelter where it's protected from rain and snow but still exposed to sunlight and open air. You can lay a tarp on top to help keep moisture out.

You can’t gauge the lifetime of a fire door like you could, say, an engine. Fire doors should be checked at least once every six months to ensure there are no signs of degradation like leaks, holes, water damage, termite damage, or anything else that might compromise the functionality of the door’s fire resistance. Check your smoke detectors while you’re at it.

To stop a smoke alarm from chirping, you must first determine what the device is alerting you to. If your battery is out or has been removed, simply change the battery and the chirping should stop. If it does not, try resetting the alarm, checking the breaker, or calling a professional to take a look.
