Sandoval Home Repair - Unlicensed Contractor

I recently hired Frank to install new cabinets in my laundry room and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, he was professional, punctual, and detail-oriented. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, made helpful suggestions, and executed the job flawlessly. The cabinets were installed perfectly—level, secure, and finished with real craftsmanship. He kept the workspace clean, was respectful of my home, and completed the project on time and within budget. It’s clear he takes great pride in his work, and it shows. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone in need of quality handyman services and will definitely be calling him again for future projects!

They tried to get most done in one day, and we were pleased that it seemed to be shored up. (the deck) But we were alarmed at how the screws to reattach the railing to the deck was causing runs in the new carpet. I counted at least 52 missing screws, 3 posts with no screws at all! The carpet was cut wrong as it did not reach the front door (a cut out was used, with the grain going the wrong way. The trim board did not meet along the side of the house where the crawl space is located. The trim metal on the deck edge was attached with a gap showing. Excess adhesive discolored the new carpet in several places at seams...where it has pooled through the material. The carpet did not meet the far wall at the front of our home, so he cut and glued scraps as if this was good enough. Also the front trim board was reinforced in such a way as to bow outwardly which will create a dry rot potential in the future. When my wife and I showed him our issues with the work (on 9/12) , he (removed name) made an appt. to return on Monday, 9/22 by 9am. That was the last we heard from him at all.

So Frank came out and charged me 225 for a job he messed up, then I reached out to let him know the job was not done right and I needed him to come back out and make it right. Frank then proceeded to say he took another job that will take up his time and he would see if he could come out in 5 days, I was so disappointed. I was due to get my Washer & Dryer hooked up and this was setting me back. I then had to reach out and pay someone else to come out and do the job correctly, Frank never reached out again after I asked him if he could come sooner as this was hendering me from getting my Washer hooked up. He never responded, He got my money for a SERVICE he did not do correctly and never looked back. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER. So what was supposed to be a Couple Hundred dollars to fix turned into 600.00. AWFUL SERVICE.

It was done in a timely manner. Was guaranteed that there would be no weeds for up to a year. If I saw any sign of weeds to call him and he would fix it. In April of the same year I reached out to Frank about weeds appearing in the work he did. He text saying he would come and pick and spray . I agreed and asked him to set up a time that I would be home. He answered several days later and said he was injured on the job and would be back at work on May 21st. On May 20th I text him to set up a time for him to come and have not received a response. I have called and text several times with no answer or response.

I called Franky on Wednesday afternoon, he had an existing meeting in my town on Thursday and he squeezed me in after the meeting. We met, he gave me a price on installing exterior permanent lighting (Govee System) and he was able to have the system installed and completed by the end of the day. Clean work and worked great. I went to link the device to my Wi-Fi and realized my ladder wouldnâ t reach where the device was located, Franky came back the next morning to relocate the device (I tipped him as I approved the work the day prior). Lights work great and are now connected to my Wi-Fi. I will definitely hire Franky again and will refer him to friends and family. Thank you!!! Brian Teeter

Quick response to initial project, fast installation of my doors and reasonably priced.

I was a bit anxious about hanging the Christmas lights myself this year so I am really glad that I connected with Frank from Sandoval Home Repair and Remodeling. Our Holidays are off to a great start. Frank was especially pleasant and professional while getting the lights hung up for us. He took his time and the lights look great, not to mention he quoted me a very fair price for his work.
