"Encore Builders is THE BEST!!! They worked on my backyard in Woodland Hills. I was in dire need of a solution since we have some gravel and pavement but I wanted some grass as well. Oz came up with the best idea and suggested we go a large central patch of grass. Take a lot at the pics!! The work speaks for itself!!! Thanks Oz and Brandon! You guys rock!!"

"Victor did a fantastic job! He was always on time. He removed some concrete from my driveway and pathway and replaced it with some brick! His work is meticulous and takes pride in his projects. I was so impressed that I hired him for another job and have recommended him to my friends!"

"Randy is a true professional and knows his craft inside and out.  Our new driveway is just beautiful and based on all the work done to prepare the driveway (depth of dirt and gravel, compression, rebar placement) I know we got a top-notch product.     We are beyond happy with the experience of working with Randy.  It was a three-day project but he came out a day early to do some prep work to ensure the next step (digging up the old asphalt driveway) would go smoothly.  He was the first to arrive and the last to leave each day.  His work ethic cannot be faulted and was very respectful of us and our property.   Randy kept us informed every step of the way and if there were any changes or delays he communicated them to us.   His estimate was MUCH less than the two other estimates we got and he was much more professional than the other two project managers. The estimate he gave us was exactly what we paid.   We would definitely hire him again and have already recommended him to friends.  "

"Nisim and his team did an outstanding job on the home we purchased. While planning our renovations, Nisim evaluated our stairs with meticulous details, providing us with a choice of options. The team at Ez genesis builderz were dedicated as they worked hard to complete our stairs within our strict timeline. The job was completed within our move-in schedule. Thank you again Ez genesis builderz for building such wonderful stairs. Your pride in your craftsmanship and desire to deliver is greatly appreciated."

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

Since water heaters are primarily made of metal, they’re commonly accepted by scrap yards and collectors. Don’t expect to fetch a high price, though—water heaters are mostly steel and aluminum, which aren’t high-value metals. Some components are made of more valuable metals, like brass and copper, but they’re a small portion of the heater and won’t affect the price much.

Yes, you can cut plexiglass by hand using a sharp knife or blade (utility knife, box cutter, glass cutter, etc.).

Welders use a variety of methods in their trade. Different types of welding are better suited for different purposes and contexts. For example, stick welding is a versatile form suitable for most metals and alloys. The most common types of welding include:

  • Stick welding: $100–$1,000

  • Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding: $250 and up

  • Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding: $250 and up

  • Gas welding: $150 and up

  • Forge welding: $15–$25 per hour

Welding is the process of using extreme heat—and, sometimes, pressure—to attach two pieces of metal. In contrast, metal fabrication is a more involved process that can include welding, sheet metal work, bending, and other forms of metal manipulation. Metal fabrication is a large-scale project that may or may not involve welding, while welding is more often a step in larger fabrication projects.

Sawing your hot tub into more manageable chunks so it can be lifted easily into a truck takes several hours. Generally, 2.5 hours for smaller hot tubs and around 4 hours for larger ones with the help of one to two people. If money isn't a concern and you want to skip the physical labor, you can hire a pro to get the job done.
