We actually did use them a 2nd time to compliment our back yard with masonry work as well.. and we know for a fact that any future work on concrete or masonry, we will definitely use them AGAIN!! "Robert and his crew did a great job installing a concrete walk in my side yard. They had some challenges working around our existing irrigation valves and pipes, but they took the extra time to do it right. After installing the concrete Robert found an area which was not draining fully and he put in extra time and effort to fix the problem area. Robert communicated with us during the project and was very professional. I would recommend Robert Garcia Concrete!"

"Angel and Andrew did a great job on raising the concrete on my patio. One side was sinking which caused the other side to lift up. They were able to even out the cement so now it looks great. Thank you for working so hard to fix it."

Foundation Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can add a battery to your existing sump pump. There are batteries available that can be plugged into your existing system; however, most battery backups come as a complete system and act as a replacement for your existing sump pump.

The cost of installing landscape drainage with the help of a professional can vary widely depending on factors like the scope of the project, your location, and the specific services needed. Smaller tasks, such as installing a French drain, may range from $10 to $50 per linear foot, while more extensive projects like installing a catch basin can cost several thousand dollars to tens of thousands. Obtaining multiple quotes from qualified professionals is recommended to get a precise estimate for your specific drainage issue.

In most cases, yes, because the large majority of basements leak or will have moisture issues at some point, and waterproofing methods can mitigate that risk or eliminate it entirely. Plus, water and moisture issues can be quite problematic, as they can lead to mold growth, rotting of building materials, structural damage, poor indoor air quality, increased electric bills, and other problems.

Basement toilets don’t always need a pump. However, it is the most common setup because plumbing systems use gravity to move waste away from the home. Basement toilets often sit below the home’s main sewage system, and installing a sewage ejector pump pushes the wastewater and sewage up to the main sewer line. Alternatively, you can use an upflush or macerator toilet that breaks down the waste and pushes it straight to the main sewer line rather than via a sewer line from the bathroom.

The difference between an ejector pump and a sump pump lies in their purpose and design—an ejector pump functions to remove liquid gray water and soft solid sewage waste from your home. If you have a laundry room or bathroom in your basement, an ejector pump for your sewage tank prevents sewage from backing up in your washing machine or bathroom’s drains.

A sump pump is designed to remove excess groundwater that may enter your home, either due to flooding or periods of heavy rain.
