"I was not surprised to read and see that Landmark construction energy crew have such an excellent reputation online, as I would also recommend them and their jobs. We hired them to paint the exterior and interior of our house few months ago and they did a remarkable job. The job went on without any problem or issues even though we were not at the house part of the time due to a trip that we went on. The quality of the work that they did get into a minor delay and it took longer than expected, but it was not because of their fault. Before we hired Landmark construction energy crew, we had other contractors in at the same time and they were getting in each other’s way. When the paint project was completed, we were very satisfied with the final results. Our house looks brand new now and we can't say enough good things about how beautiful it came out. Charlie was the nicest and lovely man during the project and he was very in-depth, extremely detail oriented and he didn’t cut corners in any way. Charlie with his workers went above and beyond on our job to make us pleased and we felt like they treated our house as if it was his own. Charlie took pride in the job that they were doing and the final work can show that very clear. It’s sad to mention but those days, it’s very hard to find workers like that anymore. We also were very pleased with Jose (the main painter that ran the show when Charlie was not around). Joe stayed in close contact with Charlie and us as the job developed. The pricing for this whole work was very fair and they were willing to work around our though schedule. If you’re in need of a very good and reliable painting company, one who values your business and truly wants you to be satisfied when they are done, then hire Landmark construction energy crew. "We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. We are very satisfied with our solar system and I highly recommended Mega Power Electric Inc."

"Ybarra Professional Builders did 2 big plumbing projects on my house and property. Not only did they install a brand-new main water line to replace the old leaking galvanized steel pipe, but they also re-piped my house's plumbing as it was also made from that same rusting out galvanized steel. I also had some other major work done by them at the same time (tree removal and sprinkler repair) but since Home Advisor asked for a specific type of project for this review, I will only review the plumbing projects. Vlad was the project manager for all of these projects. He coordinated all of the sub-contractors' work and got the projects done in a timely manner. There were none of the time issues that I had heard about with other contractors, such as waiting weeks between one phase of a project to get the next one started-after one phase was done, the next phase would begin with no more than a day or two in between. He was very pleasant and very patient with my many questions and concerns and kept me up-to-date with what was happening. The project that I most dreaded, the house plumbing re-piping, was not as bad as I thought it would be, to my great relief. All of the people who I dealt with at Ybarra were pleasant and professional, from the sub-contractors to the office staff. I think the quality of the work performed was very good. In the additional clean-up phase, the holes in the drywall where the plumbing had been re-piped were patched and painted, and the concrete where the driveway had to be cut to replace the main water line was re-poured. This portion of the project was available as an additional cost, but the workmanship was very good. I had heard and read many horror stories about dealing with contractors so working with this group was a pleasant surprise. Thank you, Vlad."

David and his team showed up on time and they were great from first day to end of this project. David was knowledgeable, honest and helpful. "When we decided to redo our kitchen in April of 2012, we knew what we wanted fixed, our budget and that's about it. We started talking to contractors, kitchen design centers and researching ideas. We quickly realized we were in WAY over our heads. A lot of places offer free design services if you buy all of your materials through them. We didn't want to be tied down. We didn't want a complete tear down to the studs, either. Homemade Design to the rescue! First of all the price was an absolute steal for the service provided. Amanda and co. Listened to what we wanted and came up with inovative,functional and beautiful solutions. Our house is old. We wanted to keep that 1920s feel, but still have a dishwasher, granite countertops and stainless appliances! Amanda had the brilliant idea of only replacing the bottom cabinets. She also gave me excellent instructions on how to refinish my existing cabinets so they look like new. This was a perfect solution for US. Homemade Design gave us ideas for layout, cabinets, lighting, wall paint, appliances, furniture, countertops, backsplash, faucets, sink,and cusions for built in. She would have recommended flooring if we wanted,but we didn't. Now, Amanda is more like a consultant...( I actually called her my kitchen remodel therapist). You still are ultimately responsible for the plan and what works for you. If your measurements are off (like mine were) that's on you. I was adament about no island and no microwave over the stove and so she didn't put those in the design. Some suggestions were not my style. And I said so. Honestly, if I picked out my own kitchen it would be so safe: white subway tile or something. Amanda gave me the guts to mix patterns and create something spectacular! It took almost a year to complete ( contractors fault) We did a lot of work ourselves. We bought the cabinets, backsplash tile, light fixtures, table and banquette cusions through Homemade Design at a great discount, we checked!! If you try shopping for any part of your kitchen, the volume of choices can be overwhelming. We loved having Amanda narrow it down for us. Communication was through email, mostly. She never took longer than three business days to respond to my million questions or concerns. Awesome. 5 months later, my kitchen is a dream come true. And I owe it all to Homemade Design!
