"I hired Hillcrest Landscaping owned by Saul Martinez to repair or replace our old sprinkler heads and pour some concrete to finish up a sidewalk. That was in September and I have regretted it since. Do not hire this company. He is not trustworthy. He left on a Friday, said he would be back on Monday to finish up the work. I know you don't pay until the job is done but I did it and I won't do it again. Lesson learned. He got paid to finish the job and didn't. No phone call from anyone from Hillcrest Landscaping. No one came to finish up the work he said he would finish. He has been here once since with the assurance that he would be back to finish my project and I am still waiting. No call no show, again. I now have to do it myself. Some of the work will have to be hired out. Even though I have already paid Hillcrest Landscaping for the work. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! "

"I was overcharged ? the price was changed after the project was completed, and I received no help with designing the space. This was not made clear to me during the initial phases of the project. Other contractors typically include design guidance, but I was left to figure out plant selections and their placement myself, which was time-consuming and frustrating, especially as I?m not an expert in landscaping. Roy overpromised and underdelivered. The team that came to do the physical work, led by Hugo, was fine, but I expected a professional service that included both design and supervision ? not something I had to manage myself. I was also charged $185 for a tree rose without being told its price in advance, adding to my dissatisfaction. Overall, I had a very bad experience with Roy and Nick. They are dishonest, and you may end up with a much higher bill than initially quoted. I wish I had researched their reviews more carefully before hiring them, and I would not recommend them."

"We have hired contractors in the past and by far hands down Solo Pavers Expert was the best ever. A top notch company that is easy to do business with. All employees professional, always showed up on time, quality work, outstanding cleanup of job site. Very good communicators, we had a few changes we wanted after job started and who ever we talked to listened and made sure the changes happened. Maicon gave us great input on our project and worked well with another contractor we had on project and took on more after other contractor failed to preform as expected. "Wow! I can't stop peering into my back yard to view the flagstone patio Pavers Express finished yesterday. It is beautiful. Interviewed and got quotes from several companies. This was the only company to give me a quote for flagstone (as I requested) instead of concrete pavers that the other companies were pushing. I wanted flagstone. Mike was great from first meet to the end. He came by to check on the progress each step to ensure we understood the process and what was next. The demolition team and the design teams were great, professional, competent, courteous and cleaned up everything. We were a real challenge as no outside entry to back yard. "I had Majid replace my fence and build a pergola last year. Since then, some of the pressure treated wood 4x4s have begun to split and the concrete that was used to support the 4x4s was starting to crumble. He also had the fence built and attached to the building which is not supposed to happen! When I had the siding replaced and painted, we had to REBUILD the fence portions that were ATTACHED to the house/garage, which was a huge pain. Both of these issues indicated that the products he used and the techniques he used are not great quality. The contractor I hired to do the siding/painting expressed concern regarding the structural integrity of the pergola - NO bracing brackets had been installed, and at least one of the 8x8 redwood posts was installed already warped. When I reached out to Majid regarding my concerns, he agreed to come out and look. When he came, he started giving excuses as to why all these things were happening.
