Octagon Pavers and Outdoor Living

Went smooth ,even with some very bad weather.Grahame kept me informed thru out the project.

Graham's design was right on and his crews were very professional and courteous. I had the backyard path done first and liked it so much I had the driveway, which was a lumpy mess, done. My neighbors have admired the job and thanked me for improving the neighborhood. My dogs especially love the backyard "race track"!

Octagon Pavers (Grahame) did our driveway this summer. We had multiple bids, and the pricing was reasonable. What set Grahame apart was his easy going nature, clear communication and access, and zealousness to see the job completed on time and as designed. Moreover, the job was not complete until every last detail was completed to our satisfaction. To top it off, the workmanship and design was great. We also recommended Octagon to our neighbors!

We had a great experience with Grahame Lawrence and his company, Octagon Pavers. They helped us with a new ~600 s.f. paver patio installation. We first met with Grahame and he took some measurements and showed us sample pavers for patterns and color selection. Next, he prepared and sent us a bid and proposal which was very fair. We agreed to a scope of work and price and his crew got started the following week. First, they demolished the existing cracked concrete patio, which took 2-3 days. Next, they excavated out a few inches of the underlying soil, and they hauled everything to the dump. After the area was prepared, they installed baserock and compacted it. Next came the bedding sand layer and the installation of the pavers themselves. The installation was finalized with polymer sand to fill cracks and keep out debris. Once the sand was in, they compacted everything a second time and then hosed it down to "set" the polymer sand. It all went surprisingly quickly and they were done with the project in another 2 days. I would certainly recommend Octagon Pavers for speedy, precise, and reasonably priced paver work.
