"I first met Tony, owner of Nexxus Remodeling, soon after his lead hardwood flooring installer had come to check out my home so they could send me an estimate. My project was to rip out all carpet in my upstairs, and on the stairs from the 1st floor. Even before I had received all bids I’d sought from him and other contractors, Tony found out the floor I’d intended to buy was out of stock. He arranged for me to go to a showroom that has the best inventory and selection I’d seen in my search, and he met me there to personally assist me to find flooring I liked just as well as my first choice. I was soon able to determine that Tony’s bid was very comprehensive and reasonable, but his efforts to help me before even being hired had impressed me just as much. If you want to hire a contractor who will go to extreme lengths to ensure you end up a totally satisfied customer, Tony. He said from the beginning that he wouldn’t consider my flooring project completed until I felt that every detail had been attended to, and he meant it! Tony personally checks in frequently to monitor the project. "I sought out a handyman to assembly 3 pieces of furniture, 1 from Ikea, 2 from elsewhere.  Gary Iselt had good recommendations from Angie's List.  After talking on the phone and getting an estimate of his hourly charges and his confidence that he could do the work, I hired him and we made an appointment to do the work.  He showed up at the exact time.  I hate that this still have to be a criteria, but he was clean and presentable.  His work was professional in that he brought his own cloth to spread out by the garage where the furniture was in their cartons so that small pieces wouldn't become bits of trash.  When he was finished, he properly disposed of the cartons, i.e., smashed them and put them in the recycling container in the alley.  He also brought the pieces inside and helped me exchange out the old pieces they were replacing.  I couldn't be happier with his work and will definitely keep his number for future work.
