"He followed up on my online inquiry and then phoned as well. We set an appointment time, he came over, I hired him, he did the work he was hired for promptly and efficiently. I would be happy to call him again for work in the future. The other person - Martin Fregoso - never answered, never called, and never followed up. I don't know why he bothers to list himself on your service. I would avoid him in the future."

Weed Services questions, answered by experts

There are many options to eradicate weeds right down to the roots. Vinegar works, but it takes a week or so to do its thing, and the same goes for many commercially available herbicides. Boiled water is a quick way to kill off roots, or you can pull up weeds at the root.

Landscape fabric and a few inches of gravel should be enough to put under a deck to prevent weeds from flourishing. If you don’t want to invest the time and money on a project like this, you can regularly spray the area underneath your deck to kill weeds.

Lawns with steep slopes can benefit from having quack grass. Quack grass's long roots and runners can help to prevent soil erosion on hillsides. Additionally, bird lovers may enjoy the fact that quack grass seeds are an attractive food choice for their avian friends.

No, definitely not. Pulling weeds by hand is the single most effective way to remove them because you're eliminating the entire plant—roots and all—so it won’t have a chance to grow or spread. Setting time aside a few times per week to pull weeds can keep them at bay. If the number of weeds gets overwhelming, then you can resort to other methods.

Yes, dandelions are considered perennial, broadleaf weeds.
