They charged over $2,000 for abatement in the laundry area which is relatively small and a very small area in a closet. This seemed excessively high but I had time constraints and needed it done quickly - they did it in an afternoon and a morning.

There is hole they should have covered, but it was not completed. The new pipe diameter is smaller than the older one and left a hole in the ceiling. The caulking that they used doesn't seem like the right caulking for the roof.

Everyone at So Cal Remediation was courteous and professional. They arrived at my house within an hour of my call. They removed the asbestos transite pipe from my old water heater's exhaust and did it quickly.
