We contracted with Kent to remove a red tag on our garage conversion on October 10, 2024. To date we have received nothing but a text image to show for the $1500 we have paid him. San Diego county is threatening to fine us if the project is not completed soon,

I had a terrible experience working with Kent. I hired him to prepare and submit plans for an ADU, with a contract that clearly outlined progress payments based on milestones, with the final payment due once I received approved plans from the city. However, once the plans were submitted, Kent completely disappeared and failed to complete the process. Despite multiple attempts to reach him over the years, he has never responded. At this point, my only option is to pursue small claims court. I strongly advise anyone considering his services to stay away. This was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience.
