"We're a GC who subcontracted Foundations on the Level and they did an excellent job for us. They installed 3 Push Pier Brackets to support our structure above and are scheduled to install more. Peter was very communicative and helpful in our planning for the project. His team was on time and did the job in one day. Their work is guaranteed and their cost for the project was the most reasonable out of 4 other foundation companies we received estimates from. We have no problem recommending Foundations on the Level for your foundation work."

"After searching online and interviewing a few contractors we found just do it builders on Angies list. From the beginning we had a very good chemistry with Eric the owner. A factor that was really important to us. My husband and I decided to go with him and we were very pleased with the outcome for our project. As Eric promised the remodel took almost 4 weeks. They remodel our kitchen completely with new cabinets, new granite counter top. We also changed the floors to hardwood floor and we also added recessed lights and few outlets in dining area. What I like the most with this company is that every morning we got a phone call from the project manger in the office about the schedule of every day, we knew exactly when the guys are coming to work and we were updated with the stages of the project. Communication was great and helpful for us. The crew kept our house clean as much as they could. They took the trash every end of the day and really made the process easy and comfortable experience as it can be. I will definitely recommend just do it builders to my family and friends. We are thinking to remodel out bathroom soon and I already contact Eric for a quote. Thanks again for such a beautiful work we love our new kitchen!!

"They had to come back and redo it. The initial person who came out was not very professional. She was the salesperson as well as the provider and was always in a hurry to get somewhere and was kind of condescending. They were not very good communicators."

"They were great and they did a great job. I would give them high marks. Based on what they did, the price of the big deal was great. It was so long ago so I do not recall how their responsiveness and punctuality were but they were pretty professional."

"The person who actually did the work was great--on time, neat, professional, did a great job stripping the wallpaper and then painting. However, the folks in charge leave much to be desired. John came to the house and wrote the contract--stayed a long time. Said Steve would call that afternoon. Steve didn't call for 2 days. I called him. He said he'd be out to scope the job out. Didn't come. Called then to say he'd be there the next day. Next day he had a vehicle problem. I had paid my down payment and first payment and I wondered.....Said he'd send his special guy. Next day the special guy didn't show up, but another guy did. He did the work, returned the next day to finish it. I asked if I paid him the remainder of the money. Said no, he didn't know about the money. I have yet to hear (that was a week ago) from annyone--no one called to see if the job was done; no one has called to tell me I owe them money. No one has sent me an invoice. I would not recommend using these folks. At the top, they don't seem reliable. And, the other contractor"

Concrete Leveling questions, answered by experts

Most projects take 1-3 hours, with immediate usability after completion.

Concrete leveling is absolutely worth it if you have sunken concrete slabs and want to restore them to level, especially if the slab is part of your home foundation. Concrete leveling is less than half the price of replacing concrete sidewalks, patios, walkways, and pool decks, and it’s about a quarter of the cost of replacing a foundation. If you also treat the underlying problem, it can be a worthwhile and permanent solution.

A sinking foundation can be lifted, most often by installing piers to re-level and support the weight of the house. Depending on the cause and extent of the sinking, other methods to lift a foundation include underpinning and mudjacking. Consult a foundation repair pro to determine the best way to lift your sinking foundation.

Polyjacking and mudjacking can both be effective solutions for sinking concrete, but they have key differences. Polyjacking, which uses expanding polyurethane foam, is often considered a better option because the foam is significantly lighter than the cementitious material used for mudjacking. This reduced weight puts less pressure on the underlying soil and lowers the risk of future sinking. Polyjacking is suitable for any sinking concrete slab, while mudjacking is typically only recommended for non-structural concrete, such as sidewalks, patios, pool decks, and driveways. The primary drawback of polyjacking is its cost, which can be up to four times higher than mudjacking—as much as $25 per square foot compared to a maximum of about $6 per square foot for mudjacking.

A good slump height really depends on the project, but there is a use for nearly all slump levels. For example, low slumps are best in projects that require structure, such as curbs and roads. High slumps often require additional reinforcement, but they flow more freely into hard-to-reach spaces.
